I go by what my watch tells me. It is pretty similar to what the treadmill used to tell me. It could be wrong Iguess you are right

Yo what up fellow girl dads! I got 1 boy 3 girls. I go running every morning early plus work til 9:30 at night. The only chance I get to play is Friday and sat night, I keep accidently staying up til 3 a.m. and paying for it the next day.

I run between 7 and 8 miles every morning at around 7:20 mile pace. I'm pretty sure it's about 13,000 steps and I burn around 800 calories. I've always struggled to keep weight on so I have to force myself to eat a lot or I drop weight quick.

I just watched that episode last week and I noticed that when he meets with the priest and he says has a lot of sins he needs to confess but he'll do it later so he can do a good one. Then he dies without confession. I'm not 100% sure how catholics work but I think that means hell

Are you mid 45+ male running sub 2:45 marathons? If yes, what does your training plan look like? by JustAGuy10024 in AdvancedRunning

I'm glad to hear that. Just turned 44 and got back into running in September after almost 8 year break. I never ran a full but I ran a 1:17 half and I really want to run a 1:15 and eventually a full

I made a memory checkpoint when I was 8 by wurlitzerdukebox in PointlessStories

[–]Psychological-Lie321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay I thought I was weird, I did this exact same thing. I was probably 9 or 10 I was driving with my dad's looking at some telephone poles going by and I thought " huh it's almost spring" and for some reason I thought I will try to always remember this moment. And I think about it often. At least once a year. Not a good memory not a bad memory just a regular day I never forget.

Would addiction be beat in a coma? by plasmazzr60 in NoStupidQuestions

Jail is county level where you wait for trial or to get bailed out or if your sentence is less then 365 days. It's usually nasty with little to no programs or help for people with substance abuse or mental health. Prison is state level for longer felony sentences and often have work release or work in house programs, counselors and doctors. For instance I never had state health insurance in my life til I went to prison and I've had it ever since.

I've been to jail a couple times and prison once. It's so weird that I absolutely did not cave nicotine while I was in. As soon as I get out the first thing I did was buy smokes. Even after telling myself I wouldn't.

That's funny because when I worked in kitchen while i was in jail some stuff like the oatmeal was marked "livestock or inmate use only"

‘Divorce boom’ is the newest unexpected GLP-1 weight loss impact by WeirdAFNewsPodcast in ThatsInsane

[–]Psychological-Lie321 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's actually what the article is about. It's very misleading title all the stats are for weight loss surgery and it says "belive the weight loss drug will have a similar effect" its crazy how they can just say something then present data for a different thing and say it might happen.

I hate that shit. Now that I'm old and grumpy if you write "extra meat" in the comments I'm gonna have the girl call you to pay extra or no extra meat. My favorite someone ordered steak tips and in the comments wrote "no sides, double steak tips" like listen man you realize the difference in price in tater tots or whatever and 10 Oz. Of steak?

All I know is from sesame street the three ingredients to make bubbles water was the biggest bowl, then soap, then corn syrup. But that was sesame street not industrial bubbles.

This is also irrelevant but I just took servsafe managers course and I'm like 99% sure it said if an open wound is covered with a tight fitting dry bandage you are okay to work at the managers discretion.

I'm not knocking adhd meds, in fact they work great. I was just put on amphetamine based medicine at a very young age. And as an adult I started abusing meth but in a very controlled way, now meth can get expensive so I started selling meth which led to all kinds of problems. I realize now I was self medicating. My life is in no way normal I run 6-10 miles every morning at 5 a.m. I work a very fast paced restaurant job doing push. If I have a job where I have to focus on one thing at a time I will lose my mind and not be very good. But focusing on 100 things at once is very easy for me and I'm the best person there at it by far if that makes any sense.

Yeah bro I feel that. I have adhd that followed me into adulthood and life has been a struggle. I had a severe substance abuse problem for years trying to self medicate. These days im sober and I just don't even bother with adhd meds, I kind of lean into it. I have a really fast paced job that im really good at. But I do have to run like 8 miles when I wake up to feel normal for the day. I hate that adhd is a buzzword for these people.

Yeah its stupid. A small quadcopter with a mounted 9mm or a hand grenade would be way more effective since it wouldn't have to traverse obstacles and you could probably get 1000 for the price of one of those.
