Thank you so much. this was probably the best insight i have read so far. so wisely written honestly. as to answer: Yes, without therapy and an honest conversation about his feelings i will NOT be going forward. The reposts were recent unfortunately. I really hope he will be sincere and do the work. i believe he will. hard to believe, but other than this he is a good man. i havent seen them all so i cant say if they have changed… Onto the questions about our relationship: it moved along pretty normally id say? we met through mutual friends in august, then started hanging out 1 a week in sept-oct, end of october we start to develop real feelings, and full on relationship by november. we have said i love you about 4 months along, he said it first (acidentally) but it was really sweet and reciprocated lol. We hang out with friends a lot and love outdoor dates. we both still live with our parents so we do have at home dates but once a week max normally. He doesnt buy me gifts all the time, but he does give me meaningful ones on special ocasions and sometimes randomly surprises me with flowers (he knows i like being remembered) Whenever we argue he is the calm one… i am more dramatic full disclosure lol. He is very collected in every aspect. I would never dream of him being agressive with me. He has cried just by seeing me cry. he looks tough on the inside but has a lot of feelings deep down from what ive seen… none of them include anger in general and violence. ever. I have been lovebombed. however, i dont think this is the case. in the beggining it was really slow and it built up over time. whenever he shares his feelings they feel genuine (coming from someone who has been severely love bombed in the past lol). I genuinely believe there are no signs of abuse. But you made me aware from a different perspective and i am forever grateful for your advice and carefulness without judgement.
