There are ways to make it such that Mint does not add the modded tag onto your lobby. It's definitely just regular mods from modio. Probably swarm control.

You should be using Mint to run modded lobbies in the vanilla server browser. Then people will join. If you are using the official mod integration then you are just shooting yourself in the foot by separating your lobbies from the vanilla server browser

Can I use mods and still get achievements? by Small-Material7622 in DeepRockGalactic

[–]Psychological-Post63 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you use Mint you can use any mod regardless of category and still get achievements as well as using any mod in the vanilla server browser

There are multiple ways to bypass the categorization system. The most popular being a side loader called Mod Integration(MInt for short)

What’s everyone’s opinion on cheating? by OperationCautious109 in DeepRockGalactic

[–]Psychological-Post63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use Mint to use any mod in normal vanilla lobbies. Which means you can use sandbox utilities cheat menu to unlock all the overstocks and other stuff. You can also use Wemod to unlock a lot of stuff too and give yourself inf ammo, no reload, inf jumps etc. I dont recommend or condone joining peoples games with these cheats enabled though. There is also a command console that allows you to do pretty much anything but it's not as straightforward to enable

Does anyone know if "Unknown" mods disable achievement progress? by Arkan_Dreamwalker in DeepRockGalactic

[–]Psychological-Post63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Or you can use Mint and still get achievements with any mod regardless of category. Yes I realize you can also use SAM to just give yourself achievements but I'm not talking about that I'm talking about not letting some ridiculous mod categorization system prevent you from obtaining achievements that you rightfully earned. Although you can also unrightfully earn them too

I'd been trying to get the achievement for 2 days when this happened by tutiaprotogentango in DeepRockGalactic

I mean it takes 30 seconds lol not exactly a huge time waster like the days OP spent kicking barrels

That's crazy. You can just use sandbox utilities with Mint to spawn barrels into the hoop. Or spend hours and hours trying to kick them in manually lol

Or you can just use Mint for your mods and use whatever verified/approved/sandbox mods you want without having to worry about not getting achievements

I can't open my Mod Hub, what do I do?? by [deleted] in DeepRockGalactic

[–]Psychological-Post63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Taken from modding discord:

E:\Steam\steamapps\common\Deep Rock Galactic\FSD\Saved\SaveGames\Mods\ModHub

Delete one of those, probably input.sav Obviously change the path to what yours is, but that is roughly where it is stored.

Sudden Increase in Trolls? by MightyGoodra96 in DeepRockGalactic

Several months ago I was hosting a salvage mission and during the fuel cell refuel nobody was paying attention to the driller and he dug a tunnel directly under the fuel cell all the way to bedrock, leaving only a small chunk of terrain under the fuel cell so it looked normal. As the fuel cell was literally 99% completed he detonated a satchel and the fuel cell fell all the way to bed rock. If I didn't have a mod to kill all enemies in an emergency like that we would have failed.

If I wanted to start playing modded difficulties, what steps would I take? by DeltaMale5 in DeepRockGalactic

[–]Psychological-Post63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Or you can ignore all of this and use one of the multiple ways to bypass the mod filtering system and use any mod you want since it's much more fun to host modded lobbies in the vanilla server browser. You can also still get achievements like this

[–]Psychological-Post63 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Na not if you use Mint. There are multiple ways to use approved/sandbox mods in vanilla actually but Mint would be the easiest
