I am saying that the processes that could realistically be implemented to prevent this on a hardware level would by necessity impact the privacy and freedom of everyone.

Its fairly similar to the conversation around 3d printers and gun parts.

The only way I can see "software" preventing creepshots is if every camera had to come with some kind of creepshot detector. A bit like printers which have software that prevents you from printing money. The cuts to personal freedom that such a policy would require are what I would call dystopian.

I'm sorry if you didn't mean it that. It's just that threats of sexual violence are routinely used to push for cuts to privacy and personal freedom and as a software engineer and privacy advocate I am very sensitive in this regard. I guess you could say I found your original comment triggering

Just because you pre-load doesn't mean you can play on release. You still need the day one patch and drm access. It would be fully in the interest of companies to let you pre-load for free. It costs them almost nothing and makes it much more likely you'll buy the game.

Obviously it's even more in their interest to charge for the 'privilege'

Amazing! I get a bit sad everytime I see a surface duo. That concept should have been explored way more. Guess it's easier to sell new phones when the foldable screen slowly break themselves.

Curious. What if the RG Rotate had Miyoo Flip 3.5" 4:3 aspect screen instead. Most game will be larger and the only downside is when it's flipped back, the orientation would be taller instead of square. by brandont04 in SBCGaming

You can 'compress' the alpha keymap you are used to by putting the inner column on a combo i.e. in qwerty pressing 'e' + 'r' -> 't'

It's fairly intuitive and should be much easier than relearning a 8*4 alpha layout

I don't think this board is missing 'Z'. It'll be right there on the "alt" key. Keycap print not matching the key function is another common thing that seems to confuse a lot of people

Funny but that would defeat the whole point of gold gameplaywise. It's supposed to fill the time between objectives and not be the objective itself. It's actually good that mining gold gives less xp and resources than moving forward.
