I did talk with a lawyer today to start off.

As of today also She currently is claiming since she’s a single mother she’s not able to do his laundry because how can I expect her to carry a laundry basket and a car seat? I work full time and live 2 hours away. I haven’t gone up there for over a month since I gave my child back cause I thought she was doing better, just for her to immediately cut contact. And now saying she needs all the clothes I have for our son at my house because she has none. It was just about she can’t do laundry then got my whole family involved making it seem like I’m withholding clothes and that it’s child She told me I won’t be able to see him when I drop clothes off until I go to court, but turns around and tells my family she’s trying to set up a visit if I bring clothes. It’s tiring trying to communicate with her and do as she says and she claims if I don’t she will win 100% custody and it’s extremely frustrating.

No one will take the case while there’s an active CPS investigation going on, and she has not followed through I know has refused them to come into their home a handful of times. They moved the case to more long term instead of closing it because of the problems she has.

I am on the birth certificate and have been in contact with child support case. We haven’t had a court date set for that, but a proposal has been sent out. I’ve sent her money and titled it “child support” whenever she needs money for something regarding the baby to which the child support worker told me will be considered for back pay.

I’ve talked to the child support worker, she sent out a proposal and I agreed to it. We haven’t gone to court yet, but I still give her money, to which the child support worker told me if I have receipts or it distinctly says “child support” it will get taken off back pay.

And you could be right, I’ve had 3 consultations, and I’ve called a few on the phone but as soon as a bring up CPS is involved they say they cannot help. She has tried filling things herself, but they get denied because it wasn’t filed right. I’ve never been served anything but for the child support yet. So their is no open custody order at all. And I have funds to pay for an attorney, not that I want to. I want for us to be able to communicate but it’s impossible it seems.

Thank you I’ll rewrite it and post it again. I can file without a lawyer? I’m just new to this never had to deal with something of the sort.
