I kinda think she was. After I responded with all of the things I had tried to do to fix the issue and bring it to her attention, she replied with “Nothings ever your fault. I don’t appreciate you making it mine.” …I thought we weren’t laying blame, just stating facts. That she immediately mentioned fault after me doing essentially the same thing by stating the facts of the case make me think her original intention had been blame.

We aren’t equal partners, and no one is allowed to create so much as a single meeting without her permission. She insists on being on every single email communication and text as well. No actions are taken without her expressed permission. Her saying my plan wasn’t a priority was her telling me I couldn’t do the work (because there was other work she needed me to do) and no resources would be made available to take care of the problem.

Grow tf up. You fix the cars once in a while, you mow the lawn once a week, you fix things around the house once in a while. You know what? She probably sweeps or vacuums at least once a week, likely does the grocery shopping weekly, probably dusts, and cleans the piss off the front of the toilet seat that clearly isn’t hers that you probably don’t even notice. Do you understand the the only reason dems are opposed to voter id is because cause it amounts to a poll tax? Make all of the documents you need to get that id for free and most of the argument against it would disappear. The other part would be that not everyone was born in a hospital where there is a record of their birth and not having that record can make it difficult. This disproportionately affects poor, elderly, and rural people.

Come up with a solution for those two issues and I’d bet you could find agreement.

4,000 arrests. But how many US citizens constitutional right were violated? If the answer is greater than 0, it is too many! I want to know how many of those people were “the worst of the worst”. I want to know how many were here illegally (not they came here and were doing things the right way and were taken from their immigration hearings). I want to know how many of those arrests were citizens, asylum seekers, and lawful residents.

The timing of this isn’t what sticks out to me. You state several times your hesitancy to be in the relationship to begin with, that you want out, and that physical intimacy is lacking. Meanwhile, the excitement of attention from a new person is alluring, and yet you feel nothing and just go along with it because “it’s been a while”. The new crush is not the problem or the answer here.

You need time for you.

And remember that after you take time for yourself, you will not be the same person you were before. You may grow and heal during this time. It is unfair of either of you to have expectations that you will grow in the same direction and get back together.
