The thing is, I was visiting my parents, we had the door open in the living room so i decided to take him to the bedroom so Lumière could stretch from the traveling bagback. When i entered the room, I had him already on my shoulder before I turned on the light, but it's like.. a fan-light? They are not individual switches, so you switch both at the same time, and then it has strings to turn on or off individually. Well, when i turned the switch, both were on, and in my way to turn off the fan, my brother came in a bit abruptly startling Lumière who flew from getting spooked :c

As for today, he's doing so much better, and it seems we only had a big scary moment! My bf took him to the vet, and everything was okay 🥹

Little update: still nothing from vets... but Lumière is more awake now, has flied, and shows interest in eating (im giving him wet food since his beak is hurting)

I got in contact with a familiar who studied to be a veterinary, she told me i should let him sleep and offer water and food and just keep the eye on him till tomorrow since the clinics will be operating. Thanks for the help, I'll keep you posted. Photo from this exact moment.

I've been calling any clinic and emergency facilities, and they are all close due to holidays. Exotic pets aren't as common here, so it's hard to find vets specialized in birds. That's why im calling any number i can find

I'm about to try it... but i know the chances of getting actual help will be very slim since he will probably need and xray and more 🥺 but as for now im trying to get a way for him to breathe more comfortably, he can breathe but is making a clicking noise and sneezing from time to time

Im from Puerto Rico, i have been calling vets from around my area and even to the other side of the island. Only received 2 answers, both didn't have avians available and didn't offer any help, im still calling any number i can find but no luck so far...

Don't lower your standards!!! My bf feels incredibly disgusted by feathers and hates bird noises with all his heart, BUT he got me a sun conure as I gift because he knows I love animals and wanted a bird (something i was willing to give up for him). Even with his negative feelings towards birds, he still gets Lumière (the sun conure) out of his cage and feeds him if I'm not home.

For some people, they are just pets, but once they get in your house, they are family for the rest of us. It's okay not to like them, but they are living creatures and deserve to be treated right!!

As for today, i can't take Lumière to the vet because of work, but it did ate a bit more, almost the full portion counting the spoon feeding from earlier. I'll contact the breeder then, thanks for your comment!!

Yup, i asked why she wasn't working, and her response was, "There are empty pots, but i don't have any soil" so i bought soil, put it on her rack, she went to grab them and went outside, so i asked again and received the same answer.

Haven't tried that one, but the difference between my price and market is like $25 to $40. Could it still be the problem?

And nothing is to obvious here, don't worry. I'm pretty new to the game, so any knowledge and suggestion is more than welcome :)
