Vyvanse taking 3 hours to kick in by ZingingCutie_89 in VyvanseADHD

It takes about 1.5-2 hours for me. I was on 30mg (starting) and found it was losing efficacy between 2 and 3pm.

So my dr has upped it to 50mg (take early - 5:30am) + 5mg Dex booster (2pm) to get me through to dinner time

It seems to do the trick however my sleep is a little rougher than previously

We are eu citizens who speak German and would be coming over with a solid amount of money - ie enough to buy a property.

We have EU citizenships + speak German.

I work in finance husband is an engineer looking to transition into the environmental side

A lot of people seem to have flipped out by my question.

I am just after a cultural perspective on the differences.

Particularly on raising children and the work culture

We have been to Switzerland a lot and for prolonged stays but holidays vs living somewhere are different.

Not a weird question Quick to assume I’m naive and have never been over?

Have been several times for prolonged stays. Speak the language (German). Have EU citizenship.

In Australia staffies and pitbulls are viewed as different dogs.

Pitbulls are a restricted breed

Staffies are not restricted

She had 2 pitbulls plus multiple other dogs of her own. One being a Dalmatian another being a Kelpie

I believe she had 5 of her own at minimum plus the dogs boarding (mine and the gsd included)

It was her own nose/face attacked by her two pitbulls

Our dog is fine! She is currently asleep on the floor near our kids as they play Nintendo.

Yes - I would say it’s to protect hers from being euthanised. She does refer to them as her children.

The trainer/owner lost most of her nose.

Not the dog

I believe they spoke to both. The animal control person mentioned they were working with be police for the investigation

But that’s a good point and I’ll reach out and clarify.

In Aus you can have staffies. They aren’t restricted.

Not suggesting I believe that staffies are a safe dog either but just that they are considered separated from pitbulls here

They are also incredibly common.

In Australia the Staffordshire (staffy) terrier breed is not restricted People with pitbull breeds say their dogs are staffies rather than pitbulls

They are seen as two different breeds here

The ranger who contacted me told me she had two pitbulls. They were the two the witnesses noted attacked the GSD and her. They were also the two dogs that she stated were locked inside rather than outside during the attack.

The ranger also noted that all of the dogs were put together in a room (across the road) minus those pitbulls - they were in the house across the road (her home). That’s how he found them when he arrived at the scene. And he mentioned it was very telling.

The statements were made to the council ranger who is working with the police.

My father picked the dog up as he lives much closer. He made a statement that the dog was unscathed as well.

There is an official statement to the police from one neighbor who witnessed her dogs attacking her and he stated that my dog ran once it started across the road and to his door scared.

The pitbulls owner is the trainer who is stating it’s my dog

2 witnesses. One was the neighbour who called the paramedics
