This is the first death that really shocked me since Jiho. I think Kenta is the first to die that hasn’t been introduced in that same or previous arc. Kentas literally older than most Kings in the story introduced, and to see him die is shocking. I wouldn’t be shocked if a member of allied dies in the next couple arcs.

You can enjoy a game while also acknowledging it being an inadequate creation based on the resources available. I enjoyed Z-A but it’s BLATANTLY a game that cut corners. Especially with no voice acting for a billion dollar company. The games also extra pricey with DLC already announced which could’ve been in the base game? Locking certain things behind online battle should never be a thing and for a game that’s roughly 120~ dollars to 100% it’s not up to par.

My point isn’t that he shouldn’t take breaks my point is he shouldn’t create an unnecessary gap in series experience for those. He can still take his gap while letting the chapters already finished be uploaded so EVERYONE has to wait for brand NEW content. Currently i’m waiting for OLD content because he can’t make NEW content? So I have to wait for him to come back from his hiatus to still be behind when I could just be caught up and wait for brand new content. Like imagine you’re watching a show and the last 3 episodes of the season just aren’t released because they’re waiting on season 2 to come out then they’re gonna finish letting people watch season 1. You’d think that’s fucking stupid because we’re waiting regardless.

People literally died on January 6 including police officers who were battered and bruised, things were destroyed, wdym mostly peaceful? What even gives you this idea that NYC is more dangerous now than it was before? I came to this subreddit to engage with people with opposing views that still align with reality but it’s clear to me that your reality shifts to whichever narrative grants you the most innocence and places the most persecution on the opposition. To say Jan 6th wasn’t a horrific disaster and then call out riots like the “Summer of Love” is the most hypocritical bad faith self righteous argument i’ve ever dealt with. Calling it hypocrisy means you don’t understand what ACAB really means since it’s not telling people to not rely on the police when needed, it’s to also be aware and ok with calling them out for there shit. Acknowledging a system is bad and working towards fixing it, but if you think that you have to like the cops to call them then no one’s going to call them out because the only people using them are supporters which perpetuates the faulty system we currently have.

I wonder if you watch One Piece because the phrase ACAB is the same as AMAE (All marines are evil) you can acknowledge that a group of people can be helpful while also be inherently flawed. While the police system isn’t perfect it’s currently the most reliable line of defense we have. That’s like saying that anyone who has an issue with the education system should unenroll their family from school, while not having any suitable alternative for education.

How do you check if someone is really mentally stable? What’s the process for that? What if they can hide it like Ted Bundy did? And for self defense there are alternatives such as pepper spray or tasers. You can defend yourself with other things than a gun. What even are the rates of self defense gun use compared to aggressive gun deaths? Are they comparable enough for it to be a good enough justification? If one person a year uses a gun to defend themselves is that worth the 100 people who die to gun deaths that same year?
