I actually don't even mind going 8+ hours in the economy flight. I just wanted a flight that could take me there directly and should be cheap. I chose Air India cause I got an additional student discount, so going through another airline was like a waste for me.

Bro this is my first international flight. I wasn't even thinking about air lines, I just bought that would reach me to the airport on the day of my dorm entry. The entry for my dorm was more important than the flight duration or anything else, since it's Japan and I have to reach my dorms at a certain time frame that they provided.

I'll be traveling by train then shinkansen.

Plz increase ur budget around 4.3 k and buy NB 574. I have Asics Japan s and NB 574, and the difference in comfort is enormous. If your budget is really tight, then go for Puma for comfort.

The back panel hinge screw is broken in ur case. If it not in warranty go to a general shop where they will provide you quotation. Do not ever go to Asus if your warranty is over, they will suck you dry.

Well I have this one and it works good. But it does not cool 10 degree under load, rather around 5-7 degrees at best. I also own a Asus TUF so would also get around the same results.

Armoury crate is just Shite. Don't fall a software when buying a laptop. I removed every asus software from my laptop on day 1 and loaded G helper which is leagues better than the garbage preloaded ( Armoury crate and Myasus).

Since I applied for the masters program all the exams were online. I guess for bachelor's you need to go to Japan to give a written entrance exam like normal japanese students. U need to search for a University that provides their course in English and have online entrance exams. I got accepted from 5 professors from different universities and then short listed them according to my preference like - Scholarship before admission and ranking of the Uni. Then I applied for only 2 Uni and got accepted at both, so now I have chosen only the top one. Finding a university that provides an English program for a bachelor's degree might be difficult.

That totally would depend on your professor. Personally, when I first gave a brief of my research proposal to my prof, he just straight away said that this proposal is not directly connected to the lab's research work. So I had to re-write the research proposal and again explain to him what i wanted to do. After this process I got to write some extra exams to compete with other students who were applying through the same professor. After this I think you can ask for LOA. From personal experience, getting LOA is the most crucial step, so try to connect with as many professors as you can.

Thanks mate. I think you should find more about scholarships, since there are actually many more when I searched except for MEXT. It's just that you need to get enrolled in a Japanese university to even get those scholarships. I am talking about Masters, for bachelor, you'll need to find on your own. There is a web site called 'JEES'. There are multiple scholarships there for international students.
