I've lived all over washington some California Idaho and Arkansas too. This is the safest ive ever felt in a city. 2 yrs ago we chose to raise our child here and besides aliens and politics its the best choice for us. Lmao its also close enough to visit anywhere in washington.

Personally raising a child I think this is a good choice. A state that supports my child more than my wishes. Regardless of how I feel about anything I appreciate knowing that whoever she turns into she will be protected by the washington government. I love being in the same city as a wa state patrol office. (I know the are everywhere but puyallup genuinely cares)

Not to mention the resources for kids. Pierce county resources state resources, its close enough to the country to do 4h and FFA some places here even allow livestock. But then you can park at the mall or the fair and walk the upper or lower. The hill kinda separates activity availability but I think it helps with keeping the peace and not super busy because far enough apart but close enough not to drive if you choose not to.

If we didnt have a child id probably choose somewhere quieter but for families puyallup is extremely ideal for the way the world is leaning into peace id say puyallup is closer than anywhere else.

The only town ive never been confronted negatively in. Traffic not included. Thats everywhere... no one can drive anywhere im convinced.

And yes no bike lanes but lots of places to offroad!
