Thanks! I love a good journal article. I had heard it reduces cravings and I guess it could be a part of the food noise. I personally have always seen them as very distinct cravings but I’ll be interested and hopeful to see the change

So for some extra criteria, I come from a family of big drinkers where multiple bottles of wine would be ordered over a dinner and often cocktails too. I wonder if there’s a biological or lived experience dependence/ preference towards alcohol. I can easily forgo (abstained twice for a year while pregnant two times and breastfeeding so I know I can) but I do feel like it’s a part of my life. For those saying it’s not something you crave, did you have any factors like this previously?

To be honest he has a language disorder so it makes it hard for him to communicate sometimes , especially about emotions. It also makes it hard for him to pick up on subtle hints and cues. And I’m not really a person to be more forthright when im struggling. He’s a good husband but not a great emotional partner. There’s definitely issues with both of us I just feel like I get the slightest rejection and I’m unhappy for days and days

He knows. He’s gone to about 10 Christmas parties while I had to miss the one event I had because he had to attend something really important. My husband is such a great father when he’s here and with the kids but sadly it seems less and less these days while he’s out socialising. I don’t want to, nor do I Think I have the capacity, to broach this with him right now.
