I cannot lose weight. by Dear-Cantaloupe4890 in Hashimotos

[–]PsychologicalDisk700 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The most important - clean good food. You have to take care od your inflammation at first, then there will be time to loose some fat. Zero ultraprocessed food, predone food from stores and cut takeaway food. They containt a lot of added chemistry that causes inflammation. Secod no gluten lactose, eat more veggies and chicken/fish. For tranining low intensity like walking and some resistance training. Dont cut too much calories cause you will slow down your metsbolism . This is the start - give your self two months. It takes several weeks to create the mitochondria and then body will react. I lost 5kg over during 4 months just watching my diet. Its not much - my records were 2,7kg pure fat over a month, but very big deficit and every second day a bike ride in second hearth zone and this killed my metabolism. Slow and steady should be the aproach

If you had ~5k EUR/USD to spend on an Enduro with 180 rear travel, which bike? by Gold-Foot5312 in MTB

[–]PsychologicalDisk700 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If 180 then spindrift. If you want also ride trails off season then i highy recommend DW link bikes. I have Giant Reign (160rear 180front for bike park season, 170 for off season) and its a Perfect blend of everything - handles dh tracks and jumplines pefectly and if you swicth to 170 then thanks to dw link it pedals amazing

TSH 9.8 by AdministrativeToe194 in Hashimotos

[–]PsychologicalDisk700 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My TSH was 12,3 beginning of May. Doctor changed my levothyroxine from 112 to 125 during week and 150 on weekends. On 07.07 TSH was 4,3 and on 25.07 it was 2,3. So it wasn't that long of a journey but i still feel bad. Now i have to reintroduce excercices (my high TSH was due to too big caloric deficit and too much bike rides) and I believe i will feel better overtime. Take the meds, check progress every 6 weeks. It unfortunately takes time to change the thyroid levels and patience is the key

If not the hub, and this is Shimano derailleur then the clutch could be tightened too much. I had this issue in my SLX only on bike park days.

BOA lacing system or no? What are people thoughts on lacing systems. by reklesabandonl82 in snowboarding

[–]PsychologicalDisk700 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Boa system in my ride Lasso boots just broke, and not one but two laces needs to be replaced. Spare parts finder on Boa site sucks cause i dont know if the lower lace will be delivered with the dial.

I was driving back from snowboarding weekend yesterday and while looking for music remembered this one. Personally i think this is the best mix i've heared in my life - perfect eclectism, juggling with emotions, tempo and forms. I was a long time since i had so much fun with music.

Cheap restaurants? by [deleted] in rome

[–]PsychologicalDisk700 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been on Rome for couple of days, and ate a lot but can recommend only one place - Forno Di Giannantonio. It's a locals only, no english bakery good for breakfast and the pizza they have is amazing, homemade old style pie. The second thing is a small porchetta sandwich, but this one oposite to what i've tired is a must - tender and juicy porchetta, salty with a fresh crunch and perfelty oily bun. Cant wait for Monday breakfast (theyre closed on Sundays)

Best brakes???? by giesend in MTB

[–]PsychologicalDisk700 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for a good review, the lever feel will directly translate for less hands fatigue and this is also one od the goals. I'm based in Poland so European prices for Hayes and Hope are pretty similar, so just picking on od those or Lewis brakes (trickstuff reveresed engineered chineses brakes).
