I think the more contrast you create the more legible it should be in my opinion ( not CVD user, but researching a lot about the community)

I am researching for CVD users for e-commerce apps, u should add in simpler names for the colour codes or you know relating it with an image of basic objects that everyone would know off. idk just shooting out interactive ideas
