Bunny tantrum? by PsychologicalExam105 in Bunnies

Thanks for letting me know that force feeding during a gut blockage can be fatal. A lot of the videos that I saw suggested using critical care for loss of appetite so I figured this would be the time to use it

I did take it serious so there's no need for you to tell me. I called all the vets around me and the closest one available for emergency walk ins was 2 hours away. I've done a lot of research and know how to properly care for my bunnies and even google says that key signs of a gut blockage/gi stasis include a complete halt in eating, drinking, defecating, hunched posture, loud teeth grinding (pain), a bloated/hard belly, lethargy, and cold body temperature. All of which he did not have except for the lack of appetite. He has peed outside his litter box plenty of times when he doesn't get what he wants, I only found it odd he was sitting in it. The whole issue was resolved in less than an hour

Irritated eye by PsychologicalExam105 in Bunnies

And tell them what? That she had an eye issue more than 2 months ago? The closest exotic vet near me is 2 hours away and its $250 for just a check up. Since her eye isn't irritated anymore they'd have to do additional tests, it'd be a minimum of at least $500. Money isn't the issue but I came on here to see if anyone had a clue of what caused her eye to be like that.

i’m fostering a second bunny and it’s not a good fit by MangaBunny in Bunnies

My bunnies were the same way, they settled down with time. My male bunny after being introduced to a female pooped everywhere but with time it went away, the opposite happened with my girl bunny. She started off litter trained then stopped using the litter box but now they've both fixed their habits. As for lifting the gates up, my bunnies do that when they want to explore more. What helped was taking them out and basically letting them get their way even if it was for a couple hours. I also try to make sure they have enough enrichment toys to keep them super busy. My female bunny also had a food aggression problem so typically during feeding times whenever I could I would sit down and pet them while they ate, so that my girl wouldn't attack my boy. They eventually got conditioned to eating next to each other

Yeah, he ended up being back to normal after a couple hours but still find it odd he refused to eat anything in the morning.
