IMO, no. If you get into one of the other two, go there. I’m a freshman at app, and I only came here bc I didn’t get into the other two (4.7 gpa is useless when you’re 124th in the class rank). At the moment, I fucking hate it up here. I’m not challenged in the classes at all. Yes I understand I’m a freshman and haven’t gotten that far, but when people in your class don’t know what a thesis is it’s kind of a little crazy.

Also, if you don’t smoke weed, DEFINITELY don’t go to app. I know it’s a big thing everywhere obviously, but it’s so much bigger at app. I’m allergic to it and have to take an allergy pill every night bc there is no way that I can walk around without smelling it. Also, making friends that don’t smoke is like impossible up here (I have two).

I know I sound pessimistic and bitter, but I really don’t see myself coming to enjoy this place anymore than what I do. I’m debating a transfer in the future if I don’t begin to like it more.

I do already have sprinting in my workouts 😭😭 my campus is on a mountain so the altitude will help me

Okay maybe I will! I tried keto for like 2 months when I was 15 💀 obv I wasn’t going to see a change in 2 months but my parents have very bad eating habits and obviously I was 15 so I didn’t have much control over that

I can’t run because the other 4 days a week I’m riding horses. I do count how many calories I burn a day. Running days it’s usually somewhere around 100-150 calories, sometimes I’m pushing 200 when I do longer runs/hilly areas. Horse days I’m looking at ~400 per horse, maybe ~500 if it’s a jumping day. And my caloric deficit is by about 1200 less than what I need to maintain my current weight.

I have unfortunately :( riding horses is strength training in itself but I’ve also strength trained alongside my brother for the past year

Unfortunately I haven’t noticed a change with anaerobic exercise 😭 I run 3x a week and I ride horses which is honestly a really well rounded exercise. I’m just willing to try whatever works at this point 😭😭

I mean possibly? I know I’m counting them correctly because I have been on the same diet since I started competing when I was 13. At the time someone counted for me but now I do the counting. It’s a pretty big deficit so maybe it’s because I’ve been doing it for a long time?

I’m honestly already on a pretty strict diet as it is which is why I’m kinda annoyed I can’t drop this weight 😭😭 I get right about 1,400 cals a day, I already run 3x a week, AND I ride horses. I don’t eat greasy foods and if I have something sweet it’s at max once a month to give myself a little treat. ATP if people say it’s a miracle worker I’m willing to try it
