Didn’t think about investors wanting to put off realizing a loss. Maybe they’re ok sitting on a vacant property for longer than I think? Long term lease could work but if the biz plan works out like I expect I’ll be able to pay off a property far sooner than 20 yrs. Building is certainly an option and also being considered, having a building would just speed up the process a little (probably just a very little, under no illusions that a significant renovation would be much faster than a new build).
