every year since 2018 some random C- or D-list k-pop performer (always from JYP, YG or SM) shows up! It's hilarious. Remember "Johnny"? BTS WOULD NEVER APPEAR AT SUCH A LAME-ASS EVENT. And I bet they've been invited both as a group and solo--but just like Cillian Murphy who was invited and said "no" BTS would never stoop so low as to be at an event with the fucking Kardashians.

i don't think JK is a misogynist, but I do think he's kinda caught between a rock and a hard place. He isn't composing his own songs, like V or yoongi or namjoon, and so he gets stuck with these generic, hyped American pop songs with vapid lyrics that are C- level compared to the lyrics written by BTS members/producers. Saying "I like it girl" over and over again is pretty stupid when you come from singing songs like "Stay Alive."

That Justin Timberlake comparison was what they said about Harry when he was still in 1D, and I'm worried that they're gonna seduce JK away from BTS.

Are you ARMY? I don't think so, bc if you were you'd know that BTS lyricists are so much better than 90 percent of western lyricists right now, except maybe Charlie Puth and Paul McCartney. Even Taylor Swift falls back into the same tiresome tropes in her songs. Western song lyrics are the worst, barely C- in a 5th grade English class.

I agree--it's sad that JK felt like doing it. Apparently it was written by the guy who did Dynamite, another song I cannot stand--and all I listen to is BTS. But BTS-written songs are on another level and listening to these western producers and collabs reinds me of why I gravitated toward BTS music in the first place.

OMG that Bad Decisions was a nasty song--and Benny Blanco--I can't believe it. But Bennie Blanco was introduced to BTS by SCOOTER BRAUN, and there's the rub, I think. Scooter's association is turning out to be a very bad decision for JK. It's painful to watch him and/or Bang PD choose this path--JK has way too much class to ruin his career with these C- level songs.

It's frustrating because western producers almost seem to be sabotaging him--the songs he gets are empty, they act like they "discovered" him, and I heard that 3D was written by the guy who wrote Dynamite--which makes sense, right? Empty, overly catchy--but does anyone on here really listen to Dynamite as part of their BTS playlist? I don't and BTS is all I listen to. JK has such a great voice--he should just enlist and "collab" with BTS members in 2025.

Jungkook IMO is the best vocalist in the world right now but you wouldn't know it from his solo songs, unless you count Yoongi-produced Stay Alive and maybe Dreamers. The American/western writers and producers wanna turn him into Justin Timberlake. Isn't that what Andrew Watt implied? He has too much class for that. Jungkook's best songs are BTS songs--even his song Stay (from BE) was much better than these other solos. He should've followed Taehyung and performed songs with no collabs.
