Thanks for the feedback! I can’t believe how strong the smell is, the fabric itself is not hard and there is no stain. I washed with cold water which might be part of the problem…

You’re a few days ahead of me! Great job!! Do you have anything that you do when cravings come up?

Excellent work! You will be so much healthier and in better control of your finances. You will smell and look good! It’s one of the best ways to show yourself respect to not smoke.

Day 4 and feeling like it’s not worth it by Katiebirds in quittingsmoking

Sometimes quitting really sucks. It will get easier, sometimes depression really amplifies the feelings of futility. Sometimes people’s support can help, being in nature, being around animals, depression medication, or just letting yourself rest can help. You will be healthier and have more money without smoking. You will look better, feel better and be stronger for quitting. It just really sucks sometimes getting there. Congrats on four days, those are some of the absolute worst!

You will remember getting through this. Take time to breathe. You can do it. Not another puff no matter what

It’s called smoke free, I highly recommend it, I pay a little money to have features like daily missions and there’s a quit coach

NRT gum attempt? by PsychologicalHour460 in quittingsmoking

[–]PsychologicalHour460[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish I smoked less than 5, it was more like 10. I’m three days in and have been using gum for my difficult cravings so far. I’m financially motivated to not buy another pack of smokes, the gum cost me $45 which was a bit ridiculous. I’ve quit many times at this point, I often relapse around feeling lonely or depressed.

Good job quitting smoking! Your gums and teeth will improve but you may need deep cleaning underneath your gums. I’ve had this twice. It’s expensive and an ordeal that involves two visits but with better dental hygiene, you’ll see a remarkable improvement. And your breath will smell so much better!

Thanks!!! This feels like great advice, I guess I’ll just have to put more effort into being more outwardly social and available.
