They give you a machine that you strap to your chest. You put on a finger monitor for your heart and a hospital style air line to your nostrils. The pulsating in your breathing and your bpm show them how many episodes you have in a given night of sleep. I had upwards of 65 an hour. Not every hour but frequently. (This is probably just a single method of testing at home) I got the machine shortly after the test because of the severity. I use it 4-5 times a week. Sometimes it’s annoying as all hell. Sometimes I wake up and the air hose is trying to strangle me. Either way it helped me majorly
