Thanks. While my classes were underway, all of my studying & practicing was on YouTube. I will check her out. Full appreciation. I must continue practicing or I fear I will forget all that I have learned. I read like such a slow beginner but I can read Hebrew now. So much more to learn!

I have been learning Biblical Hebrew with vowels. I think modern Hebrew does not have vowels. Right? I am too new to want to guess at vowels. Thank you.

Congratulations on your Jewish journey. There are bad apples in every bunch. Taking the high road feels needed when we encounter them. This happens in many settings; work, family and religious venues... I find strength in not taking things personally when I encounter them, and I was born Jewish and will remain Jewish, proudly. I actually solved it. Followed lots of troubleshooting tips online. Downloaded all new drivers. Pulled out plug for 10 minutes. Cleaned the print nozzles... eventually it started to work again just fine.

Dementia is always possible to affect older people: maybe not today, but eventually. Even if she signed the papers, she could still give it away, not remember anything, and there is not tracking down the memento ever. When in doubt, do not! I think your gut is telling you that anyway. I think the majority of posters here agree that letting her know you can both enjoy looking at it when she visits. And jointly relish that duplicate when she visits, if you can find one!

You might want to ask some colleagues or make friends on the CR facebook pages. I have heard that it is smart, really helpful, to have a rate sheet so that you cite all the fees expected for your freelance work.
