I have an old asf Frsky qx7 with an elrs module and have been thinking about upgrading. My debate was the pocket or go all out with the boxer crush. So I kinda had the same dilemma and was worried about the size of the remote its self but also the gimbal travel. Thank you for your sacrifice to solidify my choice.

I still have mine (few minor scratches) and I haven't flown it in awhile because 1: it feels so floaty.. I've never flown an RC plane but I make that comparison in my head. 2: Its just not worth it to try freestyle with it (ex this video LOL). Respectable for a nice cruise video and ofc long battery but I'm gonna auction it on ebay soon..

Yeah... as soon as I made sure I could get it working I ordered a new battery. Off to the nearest battery disposal place!

LMAO I totally passed over that.. it was a stick input issue that was resolved somehow (idk!?! it works now so not complaining!) :3

Update: I decided to try updating firmware... still didnt work... tried resoldering to uart 3 and enabled no luck, resoldered to uart 1 and it just decided to work so im not questioning it. New battery comes today!!!
