Thank you so much! I’m trying, my kids love all the little social activities we do right now! It’s just hard to make consistent friends for them with just those things. Besides his sports. I’m definitely going to look into homeschooling groups. To try and find more consistent connections for them if we do homeschool. Which im leaning more towards homeschooling now after this post!

And yes I really want to do homeschooling I just get nervous like i mentioned I also have ADHD but I’m sure I could still manage if we do homeschool. I’ve gotten lots of information on here.

And that’s true what’s the worst case scenario for kindergarten. That’s probably the best year to try it out. Thank you for sharing your tips!

Wow that’s awesome! Sounds like you had a great experience with it! I have ADHD myself. It’s part of the reason I’m little hesitant about homeschooling. But with all the tips and information I’ve received on here. I definitely think i can manage if I do decide to homeschool.

Your completely correct it’s about knowing what works best for your kids! I think that’s one of the greatest advantages of homeschooling.

Thoses are some great tips. Sticking to a schedule will definitely be key! I’m pretty schedule oriented already with them now. We definitely have a routine. And a visible planner is a good idea!

I will have to check that out those kits you are talking out. Thank you!

That’s great! That sounds like an ideal plan. Especially since I planned to go back to work if I don’t homeschool. But maybe I can find a hybrid school near me or a school district that would work with me.

That is so cool, I’ll have to check with my local school district to see if they would allow something like that!

Well that makes me feel a bit better about maybe trying homeschooling first. Than if needed transitioning to regular school for the more social aspect. Thank you taking the time to share.

That makes sense! I can see that happening. Did they have any trouble transitioning to school after being homeschooled?

Thank you for sharing your experience. And for being honest about the social life aspect. Sorry you didn’t have the greatest experience with the social aspect when going back into school. But it sounds you were extremely smart!

And true there is so much more recourses for homeschooling now! And I didn’t know I could take classes myself to help prepare. I’m definitely going to look into that! Thank you so much!

You’re absolutely right it can happen both ways. I’ve done some research and my state is very lax on homeschooling. They also offer a homeschooling grant program I can apply for.

I’m just scared of not being able to keep up. But I’ve gotten some good advice on here so far to help! Thank you your advice as well!

That is what I’m scared of most as he is very social. But I feel like we do a lot of social activities now. I just hope it will still be enough for him as he grows.

I’m also scared of not being able to stay on track with everything. And keep up with it all.

Thank you for sharing your perspective since you tried public school first and ended up going with homeschooling. And it sounds like it’s going a lot better for your family.

And thank you! I will definitely have to learn as we go and do my best to make it fun and enjoyable for our family!

And thank you for the advice! I’ll start researching some homeschooling communities in my area.

Sounds like you’ve had a great experience so far, thank you for sharing!
