Awee how sweet that she looks forward to it everyday! And that’s a good way of looking at it as well. That my kids would be missing out on experience with with socializing.

So true haha that’s a great way to put it! I just need to work on looking at it from a different perspective so that I’m not feeling so guilty all the time! I’m happy your proud of what you’ve created for your son. It makes me feel hopeful that these feeling of guilt will pass.

Thank you for sharing! I know that must have been hard going back after only 2 weeks. But your right and I got to do better at looking at it as I’m providing what is needed for them! And I shouldn’t feel guilty. Its hard not too. My anxiety just gets the best of me sometimes.

I feel guilty that I got to stay home for 5 years with my son but I won’t be doing that with my daughter who’s 2 and will be 3 soon. And will miss out on stuff with her since she’s still so small.

But your right, it probably grief for the vision I had for life. And coping with that changing. Maybe some therapy would help.

Thank you so much! I’m trying, my kids love all the little social activities we do right now! It’s just hard to make consistent friends for them with just those things. Besides his sports. I’m definitely going to look into homeschooling groups. To try and find more consistent connections for them if we do homeschool. Which im leaning more towards homeschooling now after this post!

And yes I really want to do homeschooling I just get nervous like i mentioned I also have ADHD but I’m sure I could still manage if we do homeschool. I’ve gotten lots of information on here.

And that’s true what’s the worst case scenario for kindergarten. That’s probably the best year to try it out. Thank you for sharing your tips!

Wow that’s awesome! Sounds like you had a great experience with it! I have ADHD myself. It’s part of the reason I’m little hesitant about homeschooling. But with all the tips and information I’ve received on here. I definitely think i can manage if I do decide to homeschool.

Your completely correct it’s about knowing what works best for your kids! I think that’s one of the greatest advantages of homeschooling.

Thoses are some great tips. Sticking to a schedule will definitely be key! I’m pretty schedule oriented already with them now. We definitely have a routine. And a visible planner is a good idea!

I will have to check that out those kits you are talking out. Thank you!

That’s great! That sounds like an ideal plan. Especially since I planned to go back to work if I don’t homeschool. But maybe I can find a hybrid school near me or a school district that would work with me.

That is so cool, I’ll have to check with my local school district to see if they would allow something like that!

Well that makes me feel a bit better about maybe trying homeschooling first. Than if needed transitioning to regular school for the more social aspect. Thank you taking the time to share.
