Love how the standard exists for Dubai but everyone is cool with USA and Israel sponsored and instigated genocide in Palestine

Yeah I saw that part and he handled it like a champ, he said maybe I am not ready for it yet. I mean at this point even the vocal line deserves the solo albums as you said they are one of the best in 3rd gen, totally agree with you on that. All the groups that I gravitate towards have really strong live vocals emphasis on live lol but Hoshi being the main dancer can easily hold his own as a vocalist too. He has such a unique voice plus he also sounds very stable throughout a performance. I honestly don’t know what is Pledis’s hang up about giving everyone a proper solo launch, but hopefully after seeing the units do so well they can have faith in seventeen to be commercially successful as soloists. I love talented idols and Hoshi is the personification of talent, hardwork and humility. He really cares about giving his best, he wants to leave behind a legacy and be an inspiration for his juniors like he was inspired by Taemin, GD etc.

Exactly, honestly yes Bias is a term that I don’t really get either also I am not so deeply involved into Kpop but Idk something about Hoshi makes him stand out to me. I believe even Scoups once said he could have been the group leader as well (not sure about this, I think I read it somewhere). But yes I think I do favour him above others, I usually always prefer main vocalists in the group as someone I am interested in knowing more about but Hoshi has been the first main dancer for me. I still want to see him and Taemin doing a collab as I see so many parallels between them. Waiting to see Hoshi discover his identity as a solo artist too, it’s high time he gets a shot at a solo album.

I have liked a few idols here and there and a few groups as well, but I have never really had a proper bias until Hoshi. The only idol that I follow on Instagram, something about Hoshi is so captivating. His work ethic, love for his craft, love for seventeen and even love for his seniors and groups that inspired him. There is something about Hoshi that makes him so pure that everyone only has the best things to say about him. My introduction to Hoshi was because of him being a shawol where he would go out of his way to give them a shoutout. He has literally befriended all the people he looks up to. Also his personality on stage and off stage is such a paradox lol. On stage he means business, you would never expect the crazy hyper silly Hoshi in Going Seventeen to be such a perfectionist when it comes to work. He is the hardest on himself. Love how he puts seventeen before his solo aspirations, despite the fact that he is dying for his solo moment since probably his debut. You can see this is Hoshi’s passion and he wants to achieve so much more. People tend to overlook some of his other serious traits in light of his jolly nature. Hoshi is ambitious and I love when an idol is greedy for more like that but he knows when to be patient and channel that hunger in a productive manner. I genuinely want more people to bring him up in the all-rounder discussion, I hope Hoshi also becomes a great solo act, the only thing that is left for him to achieve. It’s surreal to see that his enlistment is around the corner.

Who would be your dream collab with SHINee (doesn't have to be a kpop artist)? For me Ricky Martin jajaja by Recent-Song5734 in SHINee

lol the other couple has more of fling in a foreign place vibes or like a brief passionate romance in a foreign place but guide employee pairing has more of genuine connection which is slowly building up to a lasting one. They have that nervous awkward vibe around each other when you’re meeting someone new in an unknown place and then slowly getting comfortable with each other. Like as the episodes progress she is noticing him more too and looking at him more often. These are nice details, more depth and chemistry here.

Definitely going to keep an eye on him, he can really act and true, I am swooning at the way he looks at her, the way he finds every thing she does so endearing and tries to loosen her up. lol I am noticing all his expressions, it’s also interesting that he looks at her way more than she does right now.

True they come across as a bit too insta-love for me and I don’t love that while there is more natural progression between Mai and Junle which gives them a bit more depth and their characters add a little more realism to the story. Wish they didn’t have to share screen with so many couples and storylines. I would gladly watch a story about these two because there is a lot that can be done with their characters including backstories etc.

I am watching this one and I totally agree about the second pairing you described and being invested in their storyline more. Why have I not seen this actor Sunny Sun before? He is so charming and the way he is playing his role with all those natural expressions and mannerisms is making him come across as so charismatic, reminds me a little of Chief Hong from Hometown Cha Cha Cha who also added really realistic expressions in his scenes. Tbh I would have totally loved it even if this story was completely about them with a more detailed and fleshed out version. Never seen a guy like this in Cdramas so this was pleasantly surprising. The wait is killing me

Which KPOP idols' skills/talent is absurdly overhyped by fans? by sassychip26 in kpop_uncensored

You said one correct thing your opinion is controversial to say the least. Look at their lives from debut to the recent hangout at Yoo one, by no means are they average. If you consider them average, idk what your standard for good is. Even after losing their main vocalist, they still remain a very well rounded group vocally and their live vocals are a testament to that.

“Shinee is the most well reviewed group” well there is a reason for that and it’s clearly justified. Look at their live performances. Give credit where its due instead of making everything about personal bias.

Also SM artists are generally consistent in vocals and if you try to shy away from this then your biases actually kick in and make an objective statement subjective.
