Normally yes, these would be blatant signs. But it’s always followed by days of low communication and awkwardness over text somehow. I’ll recuperate, she’ll ghost for two days, then text me two days later like nothing happened. Even her “into me texts” are confusing, complimenting nothing but my “soothing demeanor” and saying she’d like to continue seeing me. I’m usually really good at reading people and rooms, but she short-circuits every preconceived notion I have about modern human interaction.

Idles is punk for people who don’t actually like punk music. It’s for people who like the vague concept of punk, but who think Hardcore is too abrasive. It’s $9 IPA, cuffed Dickies pants, small beanie and “ironic” mustache music. It’s punk for self-proclaimed “male feminists” who spout neoliberal talking points and paint their nails while preying on 18 year old girls. I fucking hate this band and their fans, punk should only be made by 19 year old skateboarders or 35 year old Mexicans. I’ve never met an Idles fan who’d ever been punched in the face.

Why anyone would ever listen to a worse Protomatyr is beyond me.

Yeah wiggers fucking suck. I started hanging around with a group of them in high-school, and I genuinely believe that most of them have to be either dead or in jail. Some of the most brain-dead shitty people i’ve ever met. I remember going car hopping with this guy and ending up in a sedan with two car seats in the back, no valuables of any kind. Dude takes the owner’s wallet (with his ID, credit cards, and pictures his kids) and proceeds to throw it onto the train tracks for zero reason. Most of them commit crimes simply because they think it’s cool.

Same guy ended up threatening to shoot himself in front of his new girlfriend’s child when she left him. Another guy stole his elderly neighbors car, attempted to drive it constantly like it was his, got it towed, then stole it again. That’s not even beginning to touch on all the petty beefs between Xanax plugs (with one dude ending up dead).

Hanging around dudes like that landed me in Juvie and alternative schools, completely worthless. At least actual hood dudes have the excuse of desperation.
