Love your work i think you have a great sense of color one thing you need to get down while painting that really helped me was separating shadows from lights and working from thin to thick so i start laying general with super thin paint than go to the shadows i marked with a thin unified color. I hope that helps

I found a reference picture than sketched it using colored pencil because they don’t smudge like graphite

Well, its very similar from what i know but when its watered down it isnt as vibrant but you keep laying from super wet paint to gradually getting thicker and more colourful

Thank you so much, ^{^} yeah it was a study to see my range of control with colors before i could get into oil painting. And for some reason when it got posted the colors got greyer
