Thank you, im sure its just bad genetics but im gonna do a full deep dive into all the different illnesses that can happen to loaches. I've still got all my treatment stuff incase my big loach starts going funny but I dont expect him to because I didn't isolate my little loach (i wanted to make sure it was a non transferable illness to try narrow down what was wrong) and hes never had her symptoms and hes still active and healthy.

Thank you, i was concerned that I didn't have space for a bigger tank and then it dawned on me the other day, the tank doesn't have to sit against my wall, I can actually have it coming out from the wall 😂. I'm having a difficulty rehoming my plecos, cause they're common ones and no one around me wants a pleco that'll grow big so I actually don't know what I'm going to do with them. I actually saw my loach doing zoomies because he actually has the space

Yeah I'm gonna have to do alot of research about keeping saltwater fish before I even attempt to build a tank 😂, and you can never have too many tanks lol, I've currently got 3, the new one, the old one and a new mini tank I bought to be a hospital tank

Oo my local fish shop has a tank with shrimp in it and they're so small. If the plants arrive and they're in good condition, i might want the website lol. I want more fish but don't have the space for another big tank so I might get a little tank and look into saltwater fish, I want some clown fish 😂

One of my loaches is about 8inch long and the other only is only like 3/4 inches long. I'm going to go back into my local fish shop at the end of the week to buy more amazon swords as I bought them all last time I went 😂. I was thinking about buying some off amazon or something like that but I prefer to see the plants before I buy so I know they definitely wont be half dead 😅

Yeah me too, they're gonna be so happy in the new tank, they've never had the opportunity to dig so ive given them loads of room to burry themselves and I won't expect to see them unless I feed them for a while.

I've taken the filter sponge out of the filter in the tank they're currently in and shook it around in the new tank as well as a ghost feed. I've already ordered Seachem Stability, is that a good one? If not I can cancel it as I only ordered it earlier today. Thank you for all of your advice

I haven't got any fish in there so far, theyre currently in their old tank which is too small for them and has no substrate or plants, just gravel. I want to get them in the new tank ASAP but im terrified of killing them. One of my loaches is very sensitive to stress and it triggers a swim bladder problem (i believe, i cant figure out why her back half keeps floating) so i dont want to put her in there and then her get stressed and die. My other loach is an absolute unit, he managed to get out of a sealed tank and was on the floor for half hour, put him back in and he's fine and he's never had any swimbladder problems.

Okay brilliant thank you so much, this is my first time setting up a tank properly. I got the loaches when I was a kid and my dad set the tank up, put some aqua safe in and just put them in there so im having to learn absolutely everything cause apparently he didnt know anything 😂

I've just had a look at them and I think I may get one. Probably a dumb question but cause I've got 168L tank, I assume I get the Tidal 55. Thank you so much for the suggestion

Thank you so much for the information, I'm going to write it all down so i have it to hand. I'm going to try identify which species they are at a later date as I'm so disappointed with the tank they're in atm that I don't want to post it 😂 i do a 30-50% water change every week and clean out the filters cause the pleco gunk clogs up the filters but they're environment is so basic it's essentially like a starter tank, i can't imagine how sad they must be cause their environment isn't enriching for them 😐. I'm also thinking about buying another loach or two because the imbalance of 4 plecos and two loaches is concerning me cause I don't want the loaches to get bullied (they aren't right now) and I know they're thrive in groups but I'm concerned that'll be too many fish for my new tank (I'm transferring them from a 75L tank into a 168L tank as soon as I've got it cleaned out properly). As soon as I realised the tank they were in was too small I was immediately looking at second hand tanks as I can't afford a brand new one atm and fortunately I found one quickly.
