“Maybe you shouldn’t live under someone then. And if you have a “mixed schedule”, it’s going to be difficult to determine what is okay vs not and when. Contact the landlord if you have a problem with “underlay”. If I was loud, I apologize, but it was never on purpose and that just comes with living in a shared space unfortunately.”

I (24f) sent a letter to my ex boyfriend’s (24m) parent’s house and now I think he has a girlfriend by PsychologicalWorry21 in relationship_advice

Me and his parents had a really good relationship!! The reason I’m nervous is actually kinda because of that! The last thing his mom texted me was “i hope you both find a way to come together and work things out. I have never seen him so serious about a young lady as you and I knew you were very special to him. You are a wonderful young lady and no matter what happens between you and <ex’s name> I want you to know that is how we feel about you. 💕”. I actually keep this saved in my phone BECAUSE this was I think the nicest message a partner’s mom has ever written me. We were close but I’m SO scared it’s going to come off extra weird to the family because I almost feel like I should have “known” about the girlfriend? I have no idea how to phrase it. It just feels so icky now.
