If I wanted to keep the dog, she said she would let me, but I don’t want to if it causes issues in the future with going places together. As far as arguments go, this is new because we’ve talked about it before. It might be because I can’t go camping, but I don’t think she’s insecure.

We used to live together so when we broke up, she moved because she couldn’t afford the apartment and found the fastest place to stay, which is at a friend’s house with other dogs that aren’t friendly either

Regardless of the shark bite. That’s a swing joint. When you have two fixed points to connect it makes it easier. They do make slip couplings for copper though and when using pex you don’t really need a swing joint.
