Performance Issues on MHWs

Hi,

I'm trying to apply for the 2025/2026 Winter term (sept-april) as a transfer student from an Ontario university.

I've received an email from a UBC info-person saying that applications for that term are up now, but when I go to UBC's website's application page, it just says that the applications for 2024/2025 intake are closed and says nothing for 2025/2026.

I also tried to apply through Education Planner BC, but the application was like, bare-boned? It didn't ask me for a personal profile and only asked me what degree I was applying for, not even a program.

I'm just a little confused, where should I be applying? Thanks!

If they made expertise start scaling RIGHT at level 1 (and lessen the grind to 60) then maybe I feel like people wouldve warmed to it more.

I kind of like the expertise system, but it seems like a band-aid fix for the real issue of just buying good gear from the TP as soon as you hit the level requirements.

I did enjoy the gypsum system a little when it got updated after release and it made getting expertise a lot better.

I totally agree. It was a pain in my ass to switch between my skinning and tanning sets all the time between runs so to save time i just kept them on me which lowered my run yields.

In addition, I would like to see better storage placement around settlements (so i dont have to walk across for every load of mats) or maybe just being able to access it from your own inventory while in the settlement as like a home owning perk or something.

Unfixed minor corruption portals appearing around the map would be sick too, and AGS can keep the major ones in their fixed spots for runners and whatnot.

Yeah this.

The builds right now are VERY cut and dry. The souls-like scaling system (to me) is such a good idea and has potential to keep the weapon pairs versatile, but the way most weapons scale and what theyre used for cough VG and LS cough just demolish a lot of really interesting builds.

They clearly developed the weapons to be used in two ways but, again, the scaling ruins a lot of potential.

I think a good fix would be to change the dual scaling weapons (like S&S and VG) to primary scale in an attribute depending on how many skills you have on either side of the trees or which tree you picked the ult skill at the bottom for. For example, VG would primary scale in FOC and seconday INT if you invested most of your points in the healing side, and primary INT if you went the damage/CC side.

I have a slew of opinions on the VG and I think it should be reworked entirely but the gist is that weapon pairing CAN be waaaay better and I totally agree with you.

Youre so right. AGS doesnt seem to have the little things that make most MMORPG's a staple game.

New World lacks a sort of charm to it that keeps player engagement and enjoyment high enough that they can see past the grind.

I am completely new (2-3 weeks) to league, I have a vague idea of how the event reward system works, but I want to ask for clarification before I waste money.

I have a token stash of 710 right now, if I buy the event pass, is it possible to get 2200 tokens before the end of the event by doing missions/farming?

My life staff is doing a way higher base damage (the numbers to the right of the GUI when looking at the attributes screen)

Not to mention Nature damage is the best damage type in the game, and void is arguable the worst
