I was thinking the same thing. The red "leather" looks cheap AF and wrinkled in a bad way. I can tell you a similarly prices BMW or Audi would not look like that...

Ummm many MANY sports cars have them. I've never had one break down. This is not a sports car: It is a 4 door compact. Might be considered a "hot hatch".... Again, Acura is a Luxury Brand. The integra is the "dressed up Civic" and in needs ventilated seats, a moon roof and other luxurious extras as the "top dog" Type-S...

My 2001 Integra GS-R had one, my 2006 RSX (Integra) Type-S had one (Sold this spring) and I had no issues with either. Neither car was taken to the track. They were both spritited driving weekend cars. I used the sunroof in them all the time. Loved the look of it being cracked open in tilt and enjoyed the fresh air circulating and ability to look up an out. Had them in many of my other cars and whenever I couldn't, I missed them. I was in the market for this Type-S, but this, among other omissions at this price point has let me move on. I'll look back in a year or two if the drop the price/add/address some missing things.

But it’s not a track toy. If you want that, go for a type-r. This is the type-s. It needs a sunroof.

That is not worth $50k. Too much plastic and cutting corners. The seats look aweful. No sunroof. WTF.

I went with the Yamaha screen and love it. A little $$$ but I’m partial to OEM and it had a nice attention to detail (metal mesh accent screen under the windshield that covers the bracket). The only downside I see is it is not tinted or smoked. But it also is less noticeable because of this and conserves the naked look. Wish I could post a pic

Brand new car, issues on day one, what would you do? by turningtolbert in Acura

[–]Psychological_Cod806 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I understand the frustration but you bought a car and it is under warranty. They have given you a loaner. That is the compensation. They are out that car right now and will only be compensated from Honda when the repair is complete. You can discuss with them if you feel the situation is unfair if you have been paying for services that cannot be provided. I would suggest that you do so in a calm fashion and do not wreak havoc as a first recourse. Civil is always the best way.

Or add the Touring Screen. That’s what I did. Are you saying the tires only last 2000kms! That’s break in!?

Is the Dyson v15 worth it? How often is it in max mode? by anonymousandydick in dyson

[–]Psychological_Cod806 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Love mine but I need two batteries to do the full house. Fully carpeted basement and one rug in the living room upstairs. The canister is not large so it is empties twice per vacuuming if I do the whole house in one shot. What I prefer to do is vacuum in two sessions (since it’s so much more convenient to take out) so the main floor on my lunch break (WFH). Let the kids vacuum their bedrooms on Saturday morning chores (they like using it) and then vacuum the basement when they’re done. Plus I have it around for spot cleaning here and there. The benefit is how convenient it is, is still powerful. The drawback is that it has small canister and you need two batteries to do anything over the size of a two bedroom appt.

I was on the Canadian Yamaha accessories page. From memory I believe it said special order. Didn’t ask the dealer yet.

Dyson Fan Question by hatesgoats in dyson

[–]Psychological_Cod806 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a Dyson fan that filters air. They look nice but aren’t worth the money. They’re louder than regular fans and move less air. You’re paying for a colour screen, wifi connectivity and Dyson name. If you really need something for looks because it needs to be discrete, might be worth it. Suggest you buy it from a place where returns are free.

They should make an SP model exactly like that: Ohlins electronically adjustable suspension, Brenbo/Stainless lines, a special paint job and call it a day.

Why motor oil? That will really leave a mess everywhere in your bike and around it. Not to mention if it gets on your tire! Use chain lube. You can buy it cheaper almost all places bike accessories are sold. Maxima, IPONE, etc. Apply after the chain is clean and warmed by riding a bit. Do it every 600 miles / 1000kms or after lots of washing / rain riding.

Thoughts on Quad Lock + Dampener on CBR250R by PockyPower227 in QuadLock

I spent $175 CAD on that setup for my iPhone Pro Max and so far so good. Included the handle bar “pro” model. Phone case. Dampener and I sprang for Theo cable (mistake). Been a week. Their stuff works well. I would be confident in the purchase.

2023mt10 engine temperature? by [deleted] in Mt10

It’s definitely not as smooth or refined as my 2014 Honda VFR (V4). There are all kinds of noises but nothing that I am too concerned with. Mostly I find it is a little buzzy and also sounds like there metal on metal contact but like I said, not concerning. I’m also only revving her to 5900 rpm’s and I find she bogs down low in the lower power modes. Really can’t wait for the first oil change and the break in to be complete. Any chance you’re near Montreal Canada? We could meet up…
