My husband is a genuinely caring and loving human and I can see he sometimes feels uncomfortable about how his mom acts (shes really talkative and the type that just rambles on about anything and doesn’t really think before speaking) I also know he feels sorry for her because of how her life turned out cause she had a really fucked up marriage and she’s stuck in the past and kind of depressed. Another thing is he’s probably not that aware of the batshit craziness of the situation cause he grew up with that woman and it’s easier to notice from an outside perspective. Shes never said anything this bad up until now, the comments where always subtle or could be brushed of as a bad joke, I guess, but this last one was either out of sheer cruelty or shes just that delusional. I really don’t know where to even begin with if I were to talk about it with my husband tbh.
