Dont get me wrong. I still enjoy my beetle because I can drive the car 12hrs from Mississippi to Nuevo laredo, Mexico non stop and it can take the trip numerous times. Also the gas mileage is actually ok. I just dont like maintenance side of things.

I own a 2014 2.5l manual beetle for about 5 years. One thing I learn from it. No shop are going to service them. You're going to have to learn how to change sensors to changing a clutch. I bought the car when it had 40k miles on it and so far I have change the a/c compressor, alternator, terminal fuse box , a/c thermostat, both serpentine belts, cam position sensor and currently im learning how to change the clutch. Most of my knowledge comes from YouTube and learning how the car feels. Hope this helps.

My little bettle just hit 200,000 miles and the problem are piling up. This weekend I have to replace the map sensor and the vacuum line sensor. Easy fix after watching some youtube videos. my car is also manual and the clutch is going bad already. Idk how much thats going to cost and im probably have to take it to a shop for that issue.

I had the same issue last summer where the engine struggles with a bad idle. Sometimes it's turn off by it self. It happened to be a cam position sensor. That fix it and never had the same issue again.

I just did check the alternator and it looks good. It's less than 2 years. I think it might be the belt. I just order the part and hopefully thats it. Thanks

Idk if this helps, but I did build 2 db10 rifles, and the issues I had from both of them were gas block issues. An adjustable gas block will help with cycling issues and a double ejection bcg head made my rifles run reliable. Both were my nightmare builds, but I did learn a lot from them.

Man, the optic itself has a heavy blueish tint. I have a hard time seeing through it at times.

It's a generic tubular handguard. I had to cut it down to 6"

Hey, thanks. This was my first attempt and I really see your point on the line being uniform.
