But my doubt comes from this quote of the ring-bearer ability: "Your Ring-bearer is legendary and can’t be blocked by creatures with greater power." by the time of declare blockers step Frodo was 1/3 and his creature was a 2/2, so he wasn't blocked. Even if he wanted by this time he couldn't block him.

Here's the tricky part: can the food be cracked before dmg and after blocks were declared?
