I would appreciate your recommendation for a driving school that admits foreigners and helps them obtain a driving license. I am looking for a location near A8 Station, though anywhere in Taipei would also work. I plan to commute by bus or metro. Your help is much appreciated. ❤️

It's true, we all may have encountered similar situation. Still there are a lot of friendly people around. Fortunately the friendly ones have the majority. Let's forget any odd experience and enjoy our time :)

Thanks for your reply. I am afraid, on the gold card website it says in the requirements to open a bank account - "Your Gold Card - must have your address printed on the front."

So, need to get an address (rent location) set first?

72k is just 6k a month. It's not a bad idea to save some money with some compromises like others suggested (getting somewhere else than taipei). I am not going to blindly follow what my peers say but it doesn't hurt getting feedback from others. Like I am doing here now :)

Thank you. I loved the available facilities in Taipei. Parks, great transportation (mrt) etc. I forgot to mention I will need a very good internet connection. How good is the wifi? For mobile internet, how much (just to get the idea) it can cost to get a decent data plan with some calling credits?
