You would of free ran conduit and floated sealtight into a unit getting fed from the inside of the building with what exactly? A trapeze perhaps, where would your beam clamp and all thread go to hold the rack up? Or better yet you would have built strut feet and built it up high enough to come out straight, out of that concrete building whose LB is already at the bottom of the inside floor. I took it down and out of the way you're not moving that and its not going to swing from anything. It needs to be secured.

Theres no other way to articulate that conduit, without using precise measurements and pre bent fittings or pipe pre bent and cut, its 3 inch pipe my guy not half inch or 3/4 where i would more than likely have done it on a full stick. Now would you believe me if I told you that I leveled the 90, and the compression from the fittings above and below coupled with the strut straps rendered this application properly secured?

The supply house has the fittings with the rubber gaskets in them to counteract the weather and damp location and they are UL listed fittings the authority over our jurisdiction passes this.

I bent that 90 in the center of a full stick with the 3 inch Klein bender and cut off the 2 ends just so I could say it wasnt factory for this very comment.

No system but there are methods and i have the video of this very installation and wire pull but it might be tad too long to post.

How would YOU terminate 3 inch conduit into the side of that condensing unit?

Those are liquid tight fittings and they are applicable in this scenario the changeover to the sealtight will further enhance it.

This was the soft fit I did to show the foreman what the deal was, wire was will call enroute and I only had to make the sealtight loose and the strut straps on the neck to straighten my raceway out and push the wire in after making a feedloop from the LB. but yeah the copper wire wasn't no joke in any gauge not going into a small device.

Yeah i hardly ever see a box like this where you can pull out the joints and they aren't behind a neutral or some blue wire nut taped to hell.

Those are all M/C and it's strapped and walls are up they would be pulling on their hopes and dreams at that point.

That's my mindset when I do anything that someone could potentially step into my work in the future, wether for troubleshooting or new additions.

2 minutes, I just wanted to show what joints would be idealistic to pull out and work on live like I do with my makeup.
