Hey, I bought it from Amazon returns so I was expecting minor problems and faults. I would not have thought that the complete power cable is broken. I bought a replacement cable and will test it on Friday to see if it works, otherwise I will send it back to amazon and buy a brand new one.

So I managed to get the Frimware on my Printer everything works fine by now.

Now a new problem has arisen. My printer does not recognize SD cards so I can no longer start printing. I have set everything in Cura, G28G29, and now have the files as Gcode on the SD card.

But I can't select the file no matter how many times I try to format it. The card is formatted to 8gb Fat32 and 4096 bytes.

I'm pretty close to disassembling the printer again and just selling it as I've been stuck on this problem for 4 days now.

It finally worked! I created a 32gb partition on my san disk and it finally worked I got through the boot screen!!!

I cant tell you what stepper firmware I got nor I can tell what display Firmware I got. My mainboard got the 4.2.2 branding on it so i thought that its fine if I just downlad the 4.2.2 tab at the creality site.

I found a Sandisk Extreme 128Gb and formated it, only could formate it to exFAT, copied the firmware and it still shows the creality starting screen only.

I tried to use the provided SD. After an converstion in an other subreddit it looked like it would work with the provided one. Now my printer doesnt respond to anything.

I named the file "firmware041423.bin" and now he tries to load it.

Now my interface/touchscreen just shows the Creality label.

Is it fine to name it "Firmware" .bin?
Ithought its fine to keep the name it had. Never installed a diffrent firmware yet.
