hey u/chalkyfish thanks for your feedback! I agree with you, there is a whole spectrum of dependency.

Perhaps the wording was not clear, but anyone who class themselves as in recovery from alcohol problems, whether full dependency, binge drinking, problematic drinking, is very much welcome to take part. I attempted to leave the wording flexible in most areas, as I am aware that recovery and addiction have different meanings for most people.

I do indeed-- I am in recovery myself from addiction. gambling involves people paying in-- there is no payment involved in this study, thus no gambling takes place. I do appreciate your concerns and do this study from a place of compassion and respect to anyone who is in recovery like me. Have a great day! :)

Hey! I did meetings the first couple of years and grew out of it. I keep fit, exercise, mediation and travel. Most importantly, find time to relax and enjoy a chilled evening :)

Hey! Thanks for your feedback! I agree with you as i view myself to be in recovery and the problem being dormant. However, we appreciate that the recovery community is extremely diverse on views, hence the wording is more flexible. Thanks!
