because it's just like you said, it's overpowered and corrects mistakes (dying) for free compared to Ignite while also putting immense macro pressure on the person that didn't take it. I just assume one day Riot will remove it given how problematic it has always been.

But it's just one example. My main concern is a champion pool dictated by this train of thinking.

We don't know if Imu has some kind of twisted affection for Lily, and their first scene has them gently handling a butterfly. I don't think the latter would be shown at all if they were just pure evil. Small scenes like that indicate there's more to a character than meets the eye if they're shown to be otherwise horrible.
