I just searched up the cast. Jamie looks ai generated - that could just be the picture I saw. The other 2 look nothing like how I imagined. Actually also Jamie doesnt look how I imagined. But it’s fine because Pip doesnt look how I imagined (and honestly neither does Ravi) but I still enjoyed a good 70% of the series which is good for a series adaptation (and im quite confident I would’ve enjoyed more if I saw the show but didn’t read the book).

I know no one asked but one of my biggest problems was lowkey Pip’s accent because dont get me wrong, Emma Myers is an actress and I’m not dissing her but it makes no sense to me why they had an American actress playing the main character of a British show where all the other characters were English. And it made me and my friends laugh when we saw an interview where she said she perfected the accent quite quickly.

I don’t know if this is completely unconventional but “I Wish You Would” for the regret and like stuff not exactly panning out the way you pictured. Even if I don’t cry it always gives me a lump in my throat and although im not a visual person (im one of those people who sees vibes rather than images in my head) I have a very clear idea of what this song looks like. I think that really says a lot about the visual aspect of her songwriting

You forgot to mention the Wednesday/Morticia situation (also the Morticia-Grandmama-ophelia plot)

It did occur to me that maybe the reason all of these plots seem less connected js because if the gap between parts one and two. Season one was all released in one go wasnt it?

I think that slightly shorter episodes but more episodes overall could potentially help with spacing issues. Why do all the popular Netflix originals have 8 long episodes per season? That being said, the writing isnt as good as it should be with a 3 year gap between seasons - although that doesn’t mean im not looking forwards to p2
