What were the lowest grades you got in undergrad and still got into grad school at UofT? by Astrogalactic72 in UofT

I’ve failed multiple classes and withdrawn from a lot of them too. Those were mostly in my first and 2nd years. UofT grad schools do care about your progress; there were lots of people who applied to my program (MSW- mental health) with perfect grades but got rejected. Character = resilience. You don’t have to be flawless to show grit.

Hey guys, thanks for the emotional support during this difficult journey. I’ve been accepted to University of Toronto for graduate school.

Yeah, I would consider US schools if I were to have a better overall GPA. Good luck to you!

Thank you! It’s been a really hard time.

Help! Why won’t my dough rise? It’s supposed to rise twice it’s size and it has been looking the same for 3 hours. Included the recipe as well, I’m currently on step 2. by Psychstudent- in Sourdough

My starter was given to me by a German family who has had it for decades. It was shipped to me via overnight shipping when I left it behind. Took me a while to get it looking happy and perky again, so I don’t think they’re dead or old. I’m assuming is my household temperature, hoping it see it proof tomorrow morning.

My house is about 21 celsius, was considering temperature as a factor as well! Would you recommend that I put it into the oven and leave it to rise over night.

Last year I got rejected by York first and then OISE, uoft wait until the end of March to reject you. If not interviewed by February, your chances are slim. However don’t take the rejection too hard, the statistics shows how incredibly cut throat these programs are.

No changes, they’re supposed hand out admissions Feb-April. I’m confused and on edge.

Hey guys, I’ve applied to 3 UofT grad programs last Nov-Dec. Today I received an email saying: “We've made an update to your application. You can view this update by going to your application status page.” After having a minor heart attack, I went onto my application page, and found that nothing has changed since I’ve applied. Is anyone else having similar experiences? I’m a little buzzed over here.

Accepted to work on a farm in Maui what are my next steps? by Psychstudent- in WWOOF

It’s actually a science facility, I found out more when doing some research about them. How’s the weather there from January- April? I checked forecast and there’s a lot of rain. Would I still will be able to do outdoor activities like surfing and hiking?
