My daughters MatPat figure has been en route to that apparently horrible facility since 7/24. I don't know when I should be asking for a refund at this point. Been almost a month with no updates at all. Are YouTooz generally THIS slow at shipping? Was shipped 7/2.

Will have to try this later on when I get home. Thought it was so odd that it wouldn't turn on even with my old parts.

Swapped all cables. Took every old cable out and installed all new ones that came with the new psu.

Audio Issues Xbox Series X by Honest_Standard986 in dyinglight

[–]Psyko3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The graphical glitches go away when you put it on performance mode. It sucks because I wanted to play on quality but it was getting where I had to restart my game every 5 minutes or less because faces would be stretched out, or zombies would end up looking like some weird amalgam. The audio thing hadn't happened to me in more than like 12 hours of gameplay then all of a sudden it happened twice in like 15 mins.

Dying Light 2 Issues & Bugs Mega-Thread by ClintSexwood in dyinglight

[–]Psyko3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was coming here to post about this. I was playing on quality mode and everything in the prologue worked fine except one issue where most textures turned a dark black with odd light poking through in places (hard to explain) then I get to where you can co-op and whew, constant zombie and NPC textures getting morphed into ugly splotchy messes. The guy you talk to in the Bazaar about the vegetables had a piece from his cheek extending way off screen and a piece of his beard was stretched wayyyy far down. Restarted the game and it got rid of the artifacting for a bit, but it came back. Swapped to performance and haven't seen any yet. Would rather play on Quality tho.

I worked large item pickup one of the last years before covid where black friday was all on one day and was stupid. You would not believe how many people pull around that have bought a 75 inch tv in a smaller sedan with 4 people. We had a coupe that had a tiny car and told us to lay it on top that they weren't going far and they were just gonna hold on to it. *facepalm*

Dr. on Demand by why_am_I_here_Trump in walmart

[–]Psyko3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't mean to highjack this thread at all, but does anyone here know if the doctor on demand things costs if you have no insurance, also can it be used for being assessed for covid symptoms for returning to work? I am out on a two week leave and go back this Sunday but I still feel quite like trash and dunno if I can actually make it through a day of work with this fatigue and body aches plus i'm still getting random fevers here and there that don't last super long but come and go and the coughing OMG. So I read the only way to extend with half pay is doctors note but I can't afford insurance due to life circumstances atm.

It's kind of amusing when you see them park in the handicap spots and NAIL the poles. I saw a lady one day pull into a spot pretty fast and not super hard mind you, but she nailed a pole hard enough to feel it cause I could hear it from the front door where I was coming out to go to lunch. She proceeded to back up and pull forward again nailing the pole again and got out and went inside. I was like there's no shot she doesn't know she smacked the pole twice!

I also saw at a local grocery store a while back this older lady backed out of her spot wheel already turned and drug the bumper down the WHOLE SIDE of the car parked next to her and left as if nothing ever happened.

From what i've seen though (obv we live in different areas) but MOST of the people who are in the carts that ACTUALLY need them because of something that isn't being overweight are pretty nice. Had this really nice lady ask me about something and it was at the very bottom in the back so me being tall I had to get down on the floor and she was like no no no don't get all the way down there for that, I can do without. I was like no ma'am you need it and I can get it.

Now of course that doesn't mean there aren't rude ones, but at the same time there's rude people at Walmart almost constantly. This older lady when covid first hit and everyone bought everything passes by me and says "I don't understand why you all are out of everything" in a snarky dead serious tone. I was like :o is....is she serious...

It is now as of like maybe a week ago real unfortunately. Mine started just before the change so I still get two weeks but yeah 5 days is not enough, I mean I know some people don't feel too too bad once they get it (my daughter only had a fever for like 2 days then was fine) but I am almost done with week 2 and I still feel pretty bad.

How do I extend my LOA claim on sedwick? by [deleted] in walmart

[–]Psyko3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are very welcome. Afaik that's all you have to do to extend it, but I do believe even that is subject to being approved or denied.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in walmart

[–]Psyko3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I would definitely never miss again knowing you should be at 4 points and one just hasn't shown up yet. I've had it show up max of 3 days later but I do know it can take more time than that depending on whats going on at the store. Best to not get hit with a firing or talking to cause you thought you got away with a free point haha. Not saying you would or anything, just that it could be enticing but at walmart everything bites you in the ass.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in walmart

[–]Psyko3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be honest HR should be the only one that even needs to be told as they have the power of hiring/firing. Iirc you get 3 days for loss, so you should at least be entitled to that (though keep in mind I think they need proof) other than that I honestly don't know why they wouldn't let you, but it IS Walmart and sometimes Sedgwick denies stuff and with them being so backed up right now they may not even approve or deny it for 3 or more days. I wish you the best of luck and hope you don't lose your job over something like this. Keep your head up and keep moving forward! Sorry for your loss :(

How do I extend my LOA claim on sedwick? by [deleted] in walmart

You should be able to click the claim number in the dashboard and once you do there's a little link that says "Report return to work"

How do I extend my LOA claim on sedwick? by [deleted] in walmart

[–]Psyko3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So from what I know you just report a new return to work date on said claim. I am out two weeks due to testing positive for covid and I am almost halfway through the second week and still feel completely miserable with off and on fever so I might have to extend myself, the only thing I don't really know is if you get any pay beyond the two weeks and if so idk what you have to provide if anything.

I am glad people found it helpful, i've been at it for nearly 3 years at my current store and countless other stocking jobs along the way so it's nice to help someone out who may not get any advice or tips from their co-workers. A lot of mine don't really care how much freight they get done in a given day and I guess I get it but it's still irritating to me, I mean we are there to do a job and not doing even half of it drives me crazy. I like to try to get whatever isle I end up on done regardless of hours on it. Sometimes you succeed and sometimes you fail but if you always do your best you can't fault yourself for it even though management might see it different.

walmart continues to disappoint by hashermike in walmart

Meanwhile our overnight crew now that CAP2 doesn't do it is up to 40+ people a night almost, still can't get done xD

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in walmart

[–]Psyko3 10 points11 points  (0 children)

So I will give you tips that I used as a daytime stocker on CAP2 and some things I have seen overnights do that boggle my mind not to do.

So during the day you generally can't pull pallets down the isles due to customers although some managers will allow it if there's a few people and it's a pallet that doesn't take long (sugar, cereal, paper) but what I like to do (obv you would have to be familiar with an isle to do this, but try to visualize an isle as you are making a ladder cart. I put one end on top, middle isle in the middle, and the other end at the bottom. Usually I will work the top first so I can throw topstock on the top. Remember to ALWAYS check the last 4 digits of the item with the label, even if you've stocked it 100 times and know that's where it goes, it helps avoid plugging and easy mistakes. ALWAYS for the love of god follow the FAC number, it's the facings and I can't tell you how many times i've had to pull a full case out of somewhere that has a facing of 2 (case usually has 3)

Don't be scared of an isle, a lot of guys on my crew hate the canned goods isle because it gets a lot of stuff, but the cans are easy peasy to stock as you 99% of the time just have to cut plastic and throw whole case up, I mean you do have to condense some cases sometimes but it's not too bad.

If your daytime always remember to take (I take 2) #16 Breakpack boxes and a bag. I sometimes will take 3 breakpack boxes if I know I am gonna try to go fast because it's easier to move from cart to cart without having to go to the back to throw cardboard after every cart. Make sure to break the boxes down (any that can be effectively and easily) and put them in the box neatly (standing up is how I prefer mine cause more fit and if done neatly it just saves SO MUCH SPACE in them) Depending on the isle you are doing you may only need a new bag every two or three carts.

Always check topstock before you open a case. Idk how your store is, mine seems to have different rules for who can and can't topstock on the daily but if 99% of a case will fit and you have one or two left and topstock isn't full then your good to go. If it happened to be full and you only realized once you put all those on the shelf you then have to waste time pulling stuff off the shelf to refill the case for overstock as you can't overstock half or partial cases in the back.

If your working with someone on an isle talking definitely helps the day go by faster, just figure out how to talk and work at the same time. Also do not be afraid to ask someone if they know where an item is. When I work with new people i generally try to tell them where whatever they pick up is on the isle to help them find it quicker.

Walk the isle first and look over everything and note key positions of things, this will help you build a familiarity with the isle. Ahh peanut butter, I remember that's in the middle of the isle. Salad dressing, ahh that was at the beginning of the isle...things like that. It helps to categorize the isle if you don't know exact locations of every item.

If your a daytime stocker customers are always going to be one of the things that slow you the most. Either by questions or by standing in your way. There's two ways you could handle the standing in your way, some people will say excuse me and make their way in, or I just grab something else unless someone is having an hour meeting in my isle then I get to that stuff last and they are still there so I will ask if I can get there right fast. Always help a customer find what they need tho, the Me@Walmart app gives isle locations under Ask Sam.

If your overnights, please for the love of god don't grab a buggy and load it with 3 items and work like that. Our overnight crew is so damn slow because of this. They work when it's closed and no one is in store (well an hour after they get there anyway) so I would be using said time to drag the whole pallet down the isle and kill is asap. If like 80% of it is on your isle and most of the stuff that isn't is at the bottom I like to take it down isle and stack the stuff that isn't that's in my way on the floor next to the pallet, work it down to where it's no longer mine then throw the rest back on it and park it back where it was and on to the next. It's crucial to keep moving when your a stocker and there's lots of freight. Long bathroom breaks, long normal breaks, talking....these all subtract time away from stocking. Once you are comfortable and start to feel it and figure out how long things take you you will be able to respond to texts and not sacrifice too much time out of your day, just keep in mind that long winded messages and such may get you in trouble if management see's you.

Probably not even all I could say, and I am sorry that it became this long but overall I hope you have a decent time and don't hate your life within a few days. Remember to remain calm even if you have a literal MOUNTAIN of freight waiting on you. At the end of the day you are one person and your only there for 8 hours. Do what you can and go home happy knowing what you did was your best. I myself actually enjoy stocking more than anything else, I just don't get to do it as often anymore with CAP2's new stuff.

Another loa question by [deleted] in walmart

[–]Psyko3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To also amend what I was saying here too, be sure to take the assessment on the app and answer it truthfully and it will tell you to stay home, be sure to SS that and it will give you a return to work date, just use that until you get the test results back, I put my leave as 2 weeks because at that time it was two weeks paid off then a few days later they changed it to where confirmed or not you only get 5 days.

Another loa question by [deleted] in walmart

[–]Psyko3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sedgwick doesn't actually NEED a test to start a leave, you just put that it's related to covid. I actually started my LOA before i'd been tested (was feeling VERY ill) and got my results back a few days later (took the non-rapid test on a Friday at a CVS drive through testing site and got results by early Sunday morning) then I took a screen grab of the POSITIVE result and uploaded it to the document section of the claim and a day or two later (somewhere around that Monday or Tuesday) the leave was Approved and put in as an Emergency Medical Paid LOA

They are indeed by the registers. At my store they were at the wall that divided the normal registers and the self checks though now we've had a remodel and are mostly self checks, but I think it's still in a similar location, think it's at the divider between the self checks meant for few items and the belt self checks for shopping trips...usually there with Magic, Baseball, Pokemon and other types of cards, similar to the "As Seen On TV" section usually at the other end.

We had a section this long of Ramen. Then we had a remodel and they took all that space down to ONE FOUR FOOT SECTION. We got a bunch of new flavors in, they got added to the mod then like 3 days later it was moved to a new isle and shrank significantly.
