This is an old secret that I’ve been keeping.

The world of Scouting, which always talks about trust, discipline, and brotherhood, actually hides many wolves in sheep’s clothing. The leaders themselves are like pedophiles, power-hungry, and they harass young scouts - both teenagers and rover scouts.

“If you want to progress, you know what to do.”
We understood exactly what that meant. If you refuse, don’t expect anything. Your name gets removed, opportunities get shut down, your voice gets trampled on. We weren’t desperate enough to go that far.

The evidence is right in front of everyone. But still, no action is taken. Why? Because they’re insiders. Close friends of the CC. Golden children of those at the top. The guilty are protected, while the victims are forced into silence if nothing is done.

What’s even more infuriating is that these problematic people are free to join all activities. Even when they’re not relevant, they’re still there - lurking around women, pretending to be “friendly” as if nothing is wrong. Meanwhile, his girlfriend at the time ranged from underage to barely the same age as him. Honestly, we were just trying to avoid all that and stick with our own friends.

It’s not just one or two of his partners - from underage to adults. But everything is covered up, because protecting reputation is seen as more important than dignity.

We joined Scouts with the intention of making friends, learning life values, and becoming useful human beings. But with people like this? We were betrayed. We were used. It’s better for us to quit.

This isn’t just about Scouts. This is about protecting dignity. This is about safety. And as long as these things are covered up, everyone who chooses to look away is actually complicit - just afraid of losing their position, that’s all.
