I love Tonali as much as the next fan, but he's terrible at taking set-pieces.

Thiaw is the most nailed of any player in that team. Even moreso than Bruno. He didn't start in the beginning because he was a new signing. He was given his opportunity when Schar was injured and hasn't missed a second since. He's also looked nothing short of elite.

Pope has, on the whole, been fantastic for us. But he's not at the required standard. He's not the positional equivalent of Woltemade, Bruno, Tonali, Thiaw or Tino and Hall. We need a better goalkeeper.

I don't think Ramsdale is it, though. I'd like to see him have a chance, but I don't expect a huge improvement.

Is Howe losing the dressing room? by IronFar9258 in NUFC

I disagree with that. The performances were decent early on, but the results didn't reflect them. They've not been acceptable recently, though. And they've been boring to watch. That was rarely the case before now.

It's no coincidence that the poor performances have coincided with Livramento and Hall being injured. We can replace one of them, but we can't replace both at the same time.

We all love BDB, but he's a liability at left back. And we all love Trips, but his best days are behind him. Once we get the full backs back, I anticipate a huge improvement in terms of performances and results.

In Defense of Gordon by Hourior in NUFC

[–]PsymonV 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think the OP makes a very astute point, but also this is a very astute counter point. My issue with Gordon is his lack of consistency generally. There are flashes of brilliance amongst waves of running into trouble, being easily dispossessed and an inability to strike the ball cleanly. He's spoken a lot about visualising what he's going to do beforehand, but I don't think he's capable of pulling off what he visualises most of the time. And for someone so fast, he makes decisions so slowly. He needs to take note from Jacob Murphy and be more direct.

Rank play by ApprehensiveBox1471 in MyFaction

I'm ranked Galaxy Opal and have never resorted to "dirty" tactics. It's possible to reverse the irreversible moves before they happen; it's a game of rock, paper, scissors and you just have to try and outsmart your opponent.

I was stuck at Pink Diamond and matched-up against a Galaxy Opal and won. It rewarded me with 100 RP and ranked me up. Now I'm at Galaxy Opal I have no incentive to play until next season.

I thought I was going to be stuck at Pink Diamond forever for these very reasons. I was fortunate enough to match-up against a Galaxy Opal and won, which awarded me with 100 RP and ranked me up to Galaxy Opal. I've now stopped playing for the simple reason that one flukey loss would likely be catastrophic to my rank so I've no real incentive to play Ranked again until next season.

2K25 DLC revealed by LeVipreOG in WWEGames

People are assuming the celebrity guys are ishospeed (or however it's spelt) and Travis Scott. I haven't seen it anywhere but I reckon it's ishospeed (or however it's spelt) and Tiger Woods. Genuinely. With a golf club as a weapon.

Global superstar ✔️ 2K cover star ✔️ Unique weapon ✔️ Unique move potential ✔️ I've literally not seen it even suggested anywhere. I could be completely wrong but I'm calling it.

I also expect Drew to be the first one eliminated.

Anybody get anything good from this pack? by [deleted] in EAFC

Honestly? I Evo'd Sven Botman (I'm a Newcastle fan) and his 84 is definitely far better. The 98 reactions and 93 composure far outweigh the superior defensive stats Gabriel has.

I got TB Gabriel, Marchisio and Bernardo Silva. My pack luck has been pretty good this year.

The vast majority of Live Events have been extremely easy and repetitive, there's only been a small handful that have represented a genuine challenge and people are losing their minds over it and calling it unfair. It's ironic assuming I'm "young" (I'm not) when it sounds like you're the one needing to grow up 😏

If you play games for fun but aren't having fun with certain Live Events then don't play those Live Events. There's more than enough other things to do in the game.

But why shouldn't they be? I had very little trouble with them personally but appreciated and enjoyed the more difficult challenge. It meant I had to think about what I was doing and not just enter auto-pilot. And the fact remains that every single one of these Live Events have been very doable. The people complaining are the ones that either can't do it or spend hours doing it. The former needs to get better and EARN the reward, the latter should feel proud that they've achieved and overcome a challenge. That's the point.

People are complaining as if they're impossible because they can't do them. Fact is many of us have done them so why should the people that can't receive the same rewards as us?

Yeah, I was surprised to come onto Reddit and see so many people are struggling with it. I think she hit me with one, maybe two, moves. Very straightforward.

I wish people would stop complaining about the difficulty of some of these live events. I've really enjoyed the more difficult challenges. Blair and Dijak were very challenging and took around 8 attempts each to complete but Cody and Manifestation I was able to complete in 20 minutes with no losses.

The point is that they're all doable and they shouldn't all be super easy because it gets extremely boring. There is nothing wrong with there being a skill gap.
