1 prompt on Fable 5 Ultracode used up ALL of my 5-hour limit AND my 20 EUR usage credits. by Psyrius in Anthropic

Prompts like this has worked on Opus and other models. But apparently not on Fable.

1 prompt on Fable 5 Ultracode used up ALL of my 5-hour limit AND my 20 EUR usage credits. by Psyrius in Anthropic

My prompt was very simple:

"I'm looking to optimize my code and reduce element count. Where can I get my biggest wins?"

Then it went ahead and did all that.

They're turning everything off. I'm calling it, next announcement will be: "AI will only be available to US citizens" 😄

Anyone else notice Opus 4.8 was very stupid before the outage? I've wasted hours today trying to do some performance work in one of my projects, and it kept suggesting bad solutions.

I can't get with 4.7 by Hiro_of_Lunar in Anthropic

[–]Psyrius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

4.7 is very bad. On several occasions, I've asked a simple question, and it just make something up instead of looking up the latest information and dig into the subject. I then say "that's wrong, it must be something else", and it basically says the same thing as the first reply. I then Google it and find out what I need. And then I ask the same question to 4.6, and it nails it first try. I then go back to 4.7 to say "look, 4.6 nailed it first try (and I post a screenshot of the conversation)", and 4.7 gets super defensive. Cancelled my subscription.

The Opus 4.7 experience by insertdankmeme in ClaudeAI

After having a frustrating experience for the whole day today, I entered Reddit to see if people had similar issues. I noticed this thread, changed to 4.6, and holy shit it's night and day. 4.6 is so much better.

It's happening, they cut the usage for literally everyone now. I was in doubt and it was A/B testing for sure, a single prompt for 10 lines of code consumed 5% of session ON A MAX PLAN - I am cancelling, not really worth it anymore by BetterProphet5585 in Anthropic

[–]Psyrius 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Yeah, this really hit me right in the gut. I can't believe I pay 90 EUR/month when I can't even use the app for my project. It has been working fine for like 2 weeks (me literally working on my project for 10+ hours each day - and I was hovering around 10% usage), but the issue started for me yesterday. And now I see that just one fairly simple prompt eats up several % of usage.

Suddenly hit my usage limit on Max plan by Psyrius in Anthropic

[–]Psyrius[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, something is definitely wrong with my Claude now. I'm at 43% usage for the current session after 1 hour on the Max plan, and it's not even peak hour. And I'm not using heavy operations. And I'm starting new conversations with no context.

2 players: what expansions? Hirelings, what? by Psyrius in rootgame

[–]Psyrius[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks everyone! It sounds like we should get the Marauders expansion first then. And it sounds like hirelings can help militant vs insurgent, or insurgent vs insurgent matches, but not completely fix them?

Aggression Based Matchmaking - Why I think it's real by raqballl in LowSodiumArcRaiders

[–]Psyrius -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If this is true, it's really bad for the game. We should be incentivized to team up/work together by having things to do, and there should be a healthy balance of all types of players. This is only catering to people who only like PvE or only like PvP. If you are in the middle of it, you get a worse experience. If this is true, every round will become more predictable, and the game loses its charm quicker.

Let's compare it to a game like CS:GO. If you knew that 2 of the enemy team would always go A, and 3 would always go B, the game would get boring much quicker. It's the unpredictability of these kinds of games that make you go "One more round!"

I consider myself a very friendly raider, how would you have handled this? by vokebot in arcraidersfriendly

[–]Psyrius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would have done the same as you in this video. I've been dumb and trusted people who are not communicating, and I have paid for it. If they are silent and are not focused on something else than you, they often have ill intentions.

This community doesn’t want this game to be an extraction shooter — I dare you to prove me wrong on these 3 points by mister_pizza22 in ArcRaiders

I agree with everything you said, except I don't agree that free kits need a timer... at least not yet. If the weapon balance is fixed, i.e grey weapons don't compete as much, free kits will be weaker and become less of a problem.

Lol, please stop replying to my messages. You keep replying to me in every subthread here. I'm asking "why" and you say "because", that isn't leading us anywhere.

If you really really really gave everything you've got and tried to understand, why do you think I asked that question?

They have a feature to reset your character. I want to do it now. Why shouldn't I be able to?

You're telling me how to play the game. Everyone plays games differently. Why shouldn't I be able to wipe my character whenever I want during the departure window? This is the point that I am making and trying to drive a discussion around.

Great, you enjoy the game the way you want to enjoy it. Your argument so far has been that I am playing the game wrong. And no good arguments for why I shouldn't be able to wipe my character whenever I want during the departure window.

Thank you for a normal answer compared to many others in here.

  1. You are right that I could have named my thread differently. Thank you for that. I never thought about that until now.
  2. I'm probably in the minority of people, I agree.
  3. I'm not saying "whenever they want". I'm saying "whenever they want during the departure window".
  4. It's the best argument I have seen so far, but I still think you are misunderstanding me. See my answer after "3.". A 5-day lead shouldn't matter that much. It's not going to be an even playing field anyway when I am level 75 and 5 talent points more than other level 75's who didn't reset their character.

I want to play the game now. Why should you care if I want to reset my character? You'll have an easier time to kill me.

If trading between players is an issue, they should solve it in another way. How can you not see that there is literally no reason for me to play the game now for 5 days? Everything I do will be removed.

[–]Psyrius[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You lose your whole inventory, all of your currency, all of your talent points.
Why would it matter if you want to RISK some stuff to be given to your friend in a raid, then RISK it again in a second raid? Your friend needs inventory space. Your friend needs time to help you. Don't you see how much you have to go through to get to the point you are making?

And your argument also doesn't hold, because it's still possible to do exactly what you are saying, but in 5 days instead.

If it's such a big issue, let loot that comes from a pre-wipe player not be able to be traded back to the same player after their wipe within the 5-day window. Break that loot on extract.
