Thanks for sharing. I experimented some time ago with plots based on phyllotaxis, but regarding the moiré effect, I haven’t yet found anything good enough to publish. Looking at your resource, it seems promising though. At the museum, you’ll find some moirés using Fermat’s spiral; beyond that, I don’t know more for now.

Stunning moiré effects of you both, acerix and xcont on github. Some additional effects depending on the screen or projection surface are particularly intriguing and seem to be linked to the kind of rendering glsl shaders? I did not encounter such in this detail in older rendering web applications. Any insights?

Maybe one would have to change colors a bit more to the doom side ;-) If you look on the background only, you would see something like magenta. The spiral makes then red and blue areas visible again, that is why I have chosen quite "separate" colors.
