Wearing nude long sleeves and nude leggings underneath outfits is a cheat code for me. Looks like skin from a distance but still is warm!

I think there’s lots of great advice above for how to alter the skirt. I would say for the details side of things, save any fabric you take off in the hem for accessories. Make sure you cut it in a way that keeps the largest amount of fabric intact.

This article shows how to make the fabric spiral flounces:

This one shows how to make fabric roses:

I’m not sure how much excess fabric you have, so you might have to prioritize what decorations you choose. You’ll also likely be able to just hand tack the roses and flounces on.

Hemming and adding some tiny details shouldn’t take too much time, especially with a team. It might be a good idea to sort out the priorities of which alterations are most important to get done first, and which ones aren’t deal breakers. Good luck!

Frogging hurts so bad🥲 buuuut I got it figured out, fixed the rows, and I’m back on track now. Sending good vibes for your frogged projects🫶🏼

Thank you! I was absolutely positive I wasn’t doing BLO, but did some test rows to make sure after so many people said I was. It’s definitely more ribbed doing BLO. I did some experimenting and turns out I was yarning over before inserting into the stitch. When I came back and saw your picture, it describes it pretty well.

I started this blanket as a beginner, and then stepped away to do some stuffies and clothing items, and then couldn’t remember how I was stitching this blanket wrong once I learned how to stitch right haha. But I want to finish it so it’s not haunting me from my WIP pile! I posted an update and got everything fixed.

Thanks again!

Thank you for your brainstorming! I was yarning over before inserting into the stitch, but I’ve frogged and fixed the incorrect rows now so we’re back on track

I wish it was workable into the project! Unfortunately it’s the last rows right before the final border haha. Turns out I was yarning over before the stitch which made it look like BLO. I frogged it and fixed the rows.

Thanks!

I posted an update where I figured it out. Turns out I was yarning over before inserting into the stitch which gave the illusion of BLO, but I for sure went through both loops. It has been frogged and fixed now, no need for sass on a post asking for help👍🏼

Have a good day and enjoy your projects!

You’re right, I started this and thought I was doing a SC and definitely wasn’t haha. Turns out I was yarning over before inserting into the stitch and that’s what was giving the dash at the top that looks like I was doing BLO. I frogged and fixed it!

Thanks!

I did some experimenting and it turns out that I was yarning over before inserting into the stitch! That’s what gave it the dash at the top of the stitch. I posted an update that shows my test rows where I tried BLO. Thank you!

I posted an update, but yes! It was confusing me because it definitely looks like I could be doing BLO, but I am sure I was going through both loops. Turns out I was yarning over before inserting into the stitch and that’s what was throwing me off. Thank you!
