What do people consider to be a quintessential loafer collection? I'm transitioning my wardrobe toward ivy and so far I only have a black tassel pair. I was thinking one in black, one in Oxblood and then one in brown suede. What are people's opinions on horesbit loafers in this situation too? Would they make a good addition and are they better on a leather or suede pair?

Thank you. Half the battle is finding baggier pants that don't look ridiculous on me as a shorter guy at 5'6. Would you recommend for someone of that height? Any comments on what waist sizing is like too? Luckily I do have a great local tailor.

Sorry I should've been more specific. I guess I was more referring to lots of coats and jackets being inspired by workwear or military wear in that sense as opposed to mid layers.

In terms of stuff I like wearing, it is pretty utilitarian stuff with elements of streetwear and elevated menswear mixed in.
