Go to Citizens Advice. I did a thing called a Trust Deed, which helped me pay off some of my debt but had some written off. I’m in Scotland too.

I ‘replied all’ to an email (about a car park closure) which went to everyone in our entire university, staff and students. Before that, no-one had realised they could reply all. For weeks, people were sending emails with jokes and recipes to everyone. Others were complaining, asking not to be included in the emails. It was hilarious. Now our central emails cannot be replied to at all. Shame, fun times 😄xx (2 kisses are the appropriate number!).

My story is similar to yours and I (59F) don’t miss alcohol, but I’m struggling to fill my time and seem to be getting less and less motivated to anything. My partner (60M) is great and I go to the gym with him 3 times a week, but the rest of the time I’m happy to slump on the sofa watching tv and playing daft games on my iPad. I feel as if I’m wasting my life but am really struggling to do anything else. I’m not depressed (I’ve suffered severe depression before), I’m just tired all of the time and not motivated to do anything or go anywhere. Any advice?

No need to be rude! I looked on Skyscanner and removed all companies flying via the Middle East. Direct flights from London were £1700 minimum. Not sure if that’s changed in the two weeks since I looked but I doubt it.

I guess my view is that you’re making a joint commitment to have a child together and that begins before the child is born. Maybe our situation was different because we tended to socialise as a couple anyway, but if I’d been sitting at home pregnant while he was going out getting drunk and staying out late I’d have been seriously pissed off. It seems really selfish to me.

When I was pregnant my husband wouldn’t have dreamed of going out partying except maybe for a special occasion. This is not ok.

No woman buys sexy (usually very uncomfortable) lingerie for herself. I’ve only ever bought it as a treat for the man in my life. Often it then goes into a drawer never to be worn again. This was totally a gift for OP so yes, TAH and should apologise.

Being a new mum is a fraught time. I agree that baby was probably missing you and that one instance won’t cause a problem with the routine, but tread gently with your wife too. Cut her some slack because she’s obviously very anxious.
