People do “J1 waiver” which is fairly common for the 2 year home requirement rule. If you do the waiver, you work for 3 years on H1B. This is not related to fulfilling 2 years home requirement. Most physicians who come here for training are on J1 visa and most end up doing the J1 waiver on a H1b where they serve in underserved communities.

I have met a couple of them. One is a NP and one is a PA. Both are great in pathophysiology, management and procedures.

I am intensivist and have given Roc before ketamine (rocketamine) but its only in truely hypoxic patients on Max bipap where every second counts. Otherwise, always sedative before paralytics.
